Good morning everyone , yes i agree with you Julieanne it's rather fresh up her in the north especially so on the coast but you, you lucky thing wont have to worry about the cold weather soon enough with you jetting off to sunny florida

Julie, good luck with todays weigh in and try not to get too stressed with all the extras you have on at the minute[grouphug]

Fiona, same goes to you, i know you're having a stressfull time but do take a few minutes out to yourself, i haven't seen trinny and susannah but will watch out for it, as for the pizza if you don't fancy sweet potatoes then i think it would work equally well with ordinary potato, for Oliver it will be his first year of fireworks and i'm not sure how to make it easier for him, i was thinking of keeping him in his familiar bed but with all the blinds closed on the kitchen window, normally i never bother closing them, would this be enough?

Pat, i've have no driving license and after driving for almost half of my life it's really hard going, i live on the outskirts on town so i have to ask dh to take me here and there and he can be such a grump when it comes to shopping, also he's hyper protective, i need to be "fit free" for two years before i can have that license back[msnsad]

Julie B, i was thinking of you yesterday, how did your weigh in go?

    Mizzy

ps we have a christmas tree competition going in class, a colour your baubles in for each 1/2lb you lose on your own picture of a christmas tree sort of thing and the person who loses the most weight over the next 6 weeks wins a hamper full of low syn goodies, is it greedy to say i wanna win [msnwink][msnsmile2]

Fiona the base made with eddoes didn't really taste of anything much if I am honest just very similar to an ordinary pizza crust I added a few herbs to mine which zapped it up a bit.Its worth a try I think with either veg.

I hope all goes well with you and Cat with the appointment today will be thinking of you.

Well done Mizzy on the weight loss.I have fingers crossed that I can recover from my blip tomorrow but we shall see .I have ben very good and have upped my exercise to a min of 6k on the treadmill so things should be going in the right direction.Been on a green week so far so will see if it makes any difference .

Morning all, was up til 4.00am waiting for YD to come home - finally in at 5am!![:O] Of course you know what was going through my mind, but there is NO telling them.

Hasn't winter arrived with a vengeance this morning? Should have had hat and gloves on as was so chilly walking round, so will know for tomorrow, left 2 hairy and very muddy hounds at home in the tender care of the TDFH (work that one out then!).

Mizzy I don't think Ollie will be worried about the fireworks yet - it seems to come when they get to about 4 - 6. We have a large Asian community in Maidenhead so they are letting off very strong fireworks to celebrate Dirvali (sp??). Combined with the general yobs letting bangers off very late at night makes life v difficult for pets who are worried about the noises. I am going ot sound very old here and say I can remember when it was only Nov 5 that we saw or heard any!

Off to Oxford in an hour so just popping in quickly. Had porridge for brekkies and have made a sandwich to take with me and added some fruit in case I get the munchies.

    Good morning all,

Fiona I do hope today goes well, we will be thinking of you and Cat.

Well done Mizzy,[clap][clap][clap] Go for the hamper, just stay as focused as you were this last week and you will do it. It is amazing the ideas they come up with. I must try your pizza recipe, it sounds good.

I don't think Olly will worry too much about the fireworks this year, but just in case, draw the curtains, turn the TV up high and you should be OK. I agree Fiona, I remember fireworks only on 5th November. In fact if 5th was a Sunday they were on Saturday, never on a Sunday. They do not seem to have started around our way yet but I know they will and then we will have one frightened dog. We can even hear them from Portsmouth which is over 2 miles away, as the crow flies.

    Food diary for yesterday,
    Fruit for breakfast,
Cold meat and salad for lunch
Chicken stuffed with laughing cow and wrapped in bacon, runner beans and then fresh fruit
    Small G&T.
    Jill and Brian

Pleased to report 1.5 off[clap][clap][clap] My total weight loss since I bought my first sw mag at the begining of Feb is 1 stone 11lbs[clap][clap][clap] 2lbs to target[msnwink]

Boobie still very sore from yesterday but not moaning as its just fibrocystic breast change apparently.

My 4 y/o has been sick 4 times this morning[msnsad]

    Fiona good luck[grouphug]

Well done Julie, only 2lbs to go is brilliant news[clap][clap][clap]

Fiona, hope all has gone well today. By TDFH you didnt mean The Daughter from Hell I hope[msnwink]

The fireworks have started here and thankfully they dont seem to be bothering Lily so far. I agree that they do seem to get worse as they get older though, Daisy used to be petrified so Hubby always took Mel to watch the fireworks while I stayed home with Daisy.

The christmas tree is a great idea Mizzy and I am sure you will be the winner if you carry on the good work.

I wont be able to make sw class tonight so will have to wait until next week.

Good luck to anybody weighing in tonight and to Janny for tomorrow.

i've had a lovely day, we've been to kirkleatham to visit the museum that has a titanic exhibit on and then craft activities for the children, the only prob was i din't take a snack and lunch choice was dire so i went without[msnsad]

made up for it since getting back though, just polished of 3 quorn sausages with spicy potato wedges and sweet chilli beans, i've also got a spicy apricot clafoutis in the oven, the recipe was from the new mag and it looked so yummy that i've gave it a go, will take photo if it turns out ok it's 5 syns for a 1/4 so that's going to be a pretty big pud[msntongue]

i've also got all the ingrediants in to make the christmas pud ice cream which i'm going to do tommorrow (another recipe from the new mag)

Julie, well done mrs[clap][clap][clap] i could tell just by looking at you that you're a big loser[msnoo][msnwink][msnsmile2] and 1stone 11lbs is a fantastic acheivement, and poor Lucy when is it her birthday, i hope she's going to feel better before it, could the sickness be down to nerves and excitement?

Kazzie, be good if you're gonna miss class, i always see it as a free for all when i miss a class then i end up panicing a few days before the next one[msnembarrased]

Janny, good luck for the weigh in tommorow, i'm sure the blip will be ok, my consultant is always saying that one bad day doesn't always mean a bad week[msnsmile]

Fiona, i agree winter has definately arrived and boy is it cold[msnsad]
