Thanks for the tip fiona[msnwink]. I'm merrily drinking away and I've just noticed that my bottle has only 1/4 left in it already - I hope I don't drown my kidneys! I've lost count of the number of visits to the loo this morning[msntongue]. I will be able to regulate it more as I get used to drinking more - the amount in that bottle when I first got to work this morning seemed huge so I thought I needed to keep drinking it quickly but actually by having it on my desk and just topping up the glass regularly, its going down ok!

If fruit is all free food, there's no excuse for not eating enough is there[msnwink].

Have just got back from the doctor where I had to have one of those women only 3 yearly check ups and because I haven't been to see the doc for over 5 years the nurse did the basic checks bp height weight etc .All was fine except by the doctors scales I weigh 10st 12 and the sw scales lst night put me at 11st 3 so I am totally confused as to my weight [msnscared] .
I asked if the docs scales were accurate and she said they would be 1 lb light to account for shoes so something is odd.
Trying my green week so having won the group raffle last night which was the ingredients for a lentil and veg soup I have made it and started with that .

Janny i would say the time difference may have been a contributing factor ie if you get weighed on a morning and then again on a night the difference can sometimes be quite a few lbs
saying that you could have have lost another lb even since last night[msnsmile]

Julie, i stopped drinking during my pregnancy and then to breast feed too, for 2 years and 2 months[msnembarrased] then i never really got back into it

i've had no lunch as yet so off now to find me something to eat

I am really sorry that I am not keeping up with the posts of here.

Just back from class and lost 1/2lb, tried to stick to the plan this week but haven't managed it.

Saw Jill and Brian and they are now on the way to Gatwick, I should of snuck in her case while she wasn't looking.

Jill put on 1.5lb[msnsad], she was disappointed as she thought she had a good week, I know the feeling. Still it is her first time putting on.

Very well done Sally[grouphug][grouphug] like Mizzy says you are doing something right and unter the circumstances it should be congratulated[clap][clap][clap]

Never mind Jill enjoy Florida[clap][clap][clap] First time putting on well done girl[clap][clap]

Julie b hope you managed to get to a class tonight, let us know and well done for drinking the water, the trips to the loo get less as your body gets used to drinking the water, I sip water all day even along side any coffee or tea, and I get really thirsty now if I don't drink enough, my average is 2-3 litres per day which is about right if you exercise daily[msnwink]

Janny have you tried the warm lentil salad[msntongue] Its yummy[msnwink]

    Fiona your diary sounds yummy[msnwink]

Mizzy what choccies are you having tonight? I have not had any this week, its about the only week in the month I don't crave it[msnwink][msnsmile2]

Another very good day again today, red diary.....

    fruits and yog 1 syn
    skinny lattes 2 x HC a's
1 slice of wholemeal toast HC b with tuna and salad
muller lite apple pie 1 syn

SW cottage pie which was yummy[msnwink] potato topping = HC b

    Well girls, I went!

I'm not normally a nervous person, I tend to take things in my stride, I'm quite chatty[msnwink] Yes really!

Anyway, I have to say that I was quite disappointed[msnsad]. I think the diet is great and would like to give a proper go, but I found the class really boring. The leader was lovely, very enthusiastic, having lost 6 and a half stone herself, was obviously a walking example! This is what happened, is this the general senario in all classes? I walked in, everyone smiled etc, she waited till she thought no other new ones were coming, then did her intro speach to me and 2 other new women, telling us about the plan etc, meanwhile everyone else was getting weighed and chatting amongst themselves. Then everyone sat round in a circle and she just went through everyones cards saying what everyone had lost/gained, gave out certificates did the raffle and that was it. I know I probably found it boring cos I didn't know the people there so had little enthusiasm for them but there were no recipe ideas, no pep talk to get motivation going or anything. Once raffle was done, we went home! I don't know what I was expecting but a little more than that. The only other experience I have of slimming clubs was when I went to rosemary conley three years ago, and there, you got weighed, had recipes and a motivational talk and then 45 mins of aerobics too!

I feel mean saying all that but I just felt my time and money could be spend better elsewhere and that I'd rather do another hour on the treadmill than waste an hour there every week. [msnembarrased]. I hope you don't all hate me now you all seem to really enjoy it when you go, may be yours are better. Is there anyway of getting the books etc without going to class, I'd still be prepared to join, just not go to class.

    Julie B
