    Morning everyone,

Well, I've had a quick scan through your post julie, I will read it properly later in my dinner hour. I 've done 40 mins on the treadmill this morning and only had 28g of porridge for breakfast. I have with me a banana for mid morning snack and I've filled a 2 litre bottle with water to be consumed throughout the day. I have tuna salad for lunch (again I know but I do love it!) and a wholemeal pitta (a whole one) and an orange for pud. Aren't I an[angel]. Don't know about tea yet.

Will try to check in later. An by the way, thank you [grouphug][grouphug] for all the help and support, you don't know how much I appreciate it.[msnsmile2].

    right then Julie B

how about continuing with today being a red original choice one and having something like chicken breasts with tons of veggies and 198gm of new potatoes for tea (you could add a small amount of oxo gravy for 1.5syns and a yorkshire pud for 4) or how about gammon and egg with a 227gm baked spud or make the spud into SW chips or better still fish an chips[msntongue]

then add a mullerlight yogurt and maybe some more fruit and hey how about a nice glass of wine or a low fat chocolate treat to congratulate yourself on such a fantastic day[msnwink]

    Mizzy

ps forgot to add you'd to fit this into SW food plan you'd have to syn the pitta (4.5 per mini whole) and it's recommended you have about 10-15syns per day

Well done Julie, there nothing wrong with tuna its a great source of protein and omega 3 etc so 3 or 4 times a week is good but what about some cold chicken breast as an alternative??

Great news on the water[clap][clap][clap] This will speed up your met rate!!!! Also you skin and vital organs will also benefit[msnwink][msnwink]

Another tip for eat more fruit and something I do with my children is to wash loads of red and green grapes and strawberries and put them in a bag or pot and let them snack on those, you could also add some fruits to your porridge, strawbs and bananas both go well with porridge and will help towards your 5 a day[msnwink]

You don't have to thank us Julie we are here to help[grouphug][grouphug][grouphug]

Thanks Mizzy, I'll probably go for the chicken breast and veggies, I've got that in the freezer/fridge. Don't drink though so wine is out of the question, no I not an[angel], just don't like the taste of alcohol!

I think there's a class in the next village tonight, will check the website later, bit short notice for me though, do I have the courage? Watch this space!

Typing at the same time Julie, thanks for the tips. Am I right in thinking you can eat literally as much fruit as you like as free food?

If I did decide to go tonight, can I just turn up or do I have to ring the leader first?

Julie you will be welcomed with a warm smile and made to feel at home.

Just a thought - if you wanted to do toad in the hole, you could do a SW version. If you used M&S low-fat sausages and made the york pudd bit with low-fat meal this would be not too many syns. 3 for 28g of yorkshire on a green or red day, and the sausages are lower than the normal syns - 2½ on red and 4 on green for 28g of pork sausage. You would need to substitute the roast pots for lots of free veg! I find my lot will eat the low-fat version if they are done like that but not so keen on them otherwise, so if we have them I just have to allow for them and plan it in my food diary.

Do have a look at the SW website, you can peek online at the members area by registering - you only need the weekly password, I am still using last week's one which is vegetable.

Do make sure you drink lots of water - it does help and it is not good for you to be doing all that exercise and not drinking alot - it gets rid of the toxins in your body, and does wonders for your complexion.

    Food diary for today
28g porridge oats with skimmed milk
    black tea
    lots of water
omelette with mushroom, tomato & sp onion & watercress for lunch
pea risotto for supper (cupboard a bit bare by tonight!) and salad
have bought 3 bananas intow ork in case I get the munchies!
