Hi all.
Well we have good and bad news. The bad news is it is the very rare and more agressive form of cancer. She has an adenoid cystic carcenoma. The good news is (after the fright we got from the Registrar) the consultant has confirmed that it shows no signs of having gone to the brain tissue or the nodes in the neck, so is localised just to a minute area in her ear (well that is what is left). She has been referred to specialist cancer ENT unit at Oxford with neurologist, oncologist & surgeon.
Will keep you informed.
After all this of course no chance of keeping to the plan yesterday, but am on the trail today!
