Hi All, 2lb off. Next week I am going to try and not eat so much bread as I am sure that bloats me out. I had lost 2lb by Monday morning, but since eating bread I am sure it has made a difference to my weight.

I stayed the same this week. Not really surprised as with our friends here I have not been doing so much exercise and have been eating more than usual. I am quite pleased with staying the same because of that. Am determined to do better next week as I want to get half a stone off by the time we go off to Florida on 23rd September, four weeks tomorrow. I think I might try one of the recommened seven day menus and see how I get on.

Sally did not come to weigh-in tonight. I rang her, she said she knew she would have put on so decided not to go, also her washing machine had stopped working and her DH has just fixed it and she had 6 loads of washing to do. Also her computer was not working so she was not able to catch up on all the news but hopes that she might be back tomorrow night.

One thing I am quite chuffed about, I am one of four in our class nominated for Class Slimmer of the Year. Voting next week.

Got the new magazine tonight and there are some super recipes in it, especially three chinese ones. Not sure if anyone has posted it but the password this week is cereal.

    Food diary today
    Mixed fruit
    King prawn salad and nectarine
    Small piece of cake
    Tastings at class
Stuffed turkey breast, vegetables, bread sauce, one roast potato and gravy.
    1 glas of red wine.

Well done Janice[clap][clap][clap] 2lb off is very good.

Jill, dont worry that you didnt have a loss this week, it is always harder when you have friends staying and not doing so much exercise. Very well done for being nominated for Class Slimmer of the Year. Even if you do not win, it is a fantastic achievement anyway. You should be very proud of yourself.

Fiona, I hope you get your phone sorted before the due date, it is so annoying[msnmad].

Janny, good luck for Sunday, I will be thinking of you and hope the weather is good for you.

Paula, I hope things improve for you soon.

Mizzy, Have you decided on your food menu for the anniversary bash yet? I am sure you will cope with a little help.

Julie, as always being very good, you are a star by just being so positive.

Still not back on track yet myself, Lily is taking up so much of my time and she has been a little devil for a solid 3 hours tonight!! Shouldnt complain really, as overall she has been excellent[msnsmile]. She did have 2 wee wees indoors the day we collected her, but nothing since. We have kept the patio doors open for most of the time and she just goes into the garden when she needs to. Looking forward to when I can take her for long walks, she can start going out properly in 6 days so that will be a start and can build up to longer walks as she is able to cope.

Stay positive everybody, and sorry if I have missed anybody out. It is very difficult keeping up with all of us now, so many!

    good morning everyone

sorry i couldn't get logged on last night, i had unexpected company[msnsad]

firstly can i say well done to Janny for taking that first step and joining a class[clap]you're food diary looks good i would just say remember to have some syns

and Janice, 2lbs is a great weight loss even in the first week[clap][clap][clap] i have a question for you, what do you mean that you lost this by monday, have you been getting weighed at home too?, it's going to take a few weeks Janice for your body to get the message that you are eating properly all the time now, you have been sending it very confusing messages with the on and off BHF diet so i wouldn't be too quick to blame the bread, if you definately think it's the bread don't forget you still need those 2 healthy B's[msnsmile]

Kazzie ,sounds like you're having a gret time with your new baby[msnwink]

Jill congratulations on being nominated for slimmer of the year[clap][clap][clap][clap]

Fiona, stay well away from NTL, i'm finally getting shot after 10 apalling years, yes i know i should have done it sooner but never found the time, back to bt at the end of the month

well, how am i doing?, i was doing great until last night, we had unexpected visitors who quite frankly drove me to hit the bottle the minute they left[msnmad] and as some of you know i only drink christmas and holidays so it is out of character for me
so a few calming drinks later and i made a rather stupid dicision and had chinese take away[msnembarrased] chow mein so that's ok but with prawn toast and mini spring rolls which are not[msnembarrased][msnsad] regretting it now[msncry]

will endeavor to have three perfect days over the weekend and hopefully there's a slim chance i'll stay the same at class on monday[msnscared]

Morning all, woke up with a Migraine so took a tablet at 0725 and went back to bed, its still hanging around though[msnsad]

Janice well done, I agree with Mizzy your body has to get used to SW, but I have only recenty started to have a slice of wholemeal a day and that's because I am making andwichs for the children as they are off school[msnwink]

Jill very well done on the Slimmer of the Yaer. how cool is that[clap][clap][clap]

Janny your food dairy looks great but don't forget on green days you can have pots too[msnwink]

Karen you will get back on track when you are ready, Lily sounds so sweet[msnsmile]

Paula and Theresa I think about you both everyday as I have been where you are, please keep in touch though and both of you take care[grouphug]

Fiona we are just getting rid of our NTL cable and we are going to get SKY which now offers free broadband, have a look at the web site http://87.86.186.37/showmeskybroadband.htm

Julieanne hope you get your internet back soon too[grouphug]

    Jackie enjoy your blackberries[angel]

Have a great day all hope I have not missed anyone[grouphug]

Good morning all, sent the DH and visitors off sailing so have a few hours to do some jobs etc.

Janice, I forgot to say well done the loss of 2lb[clap][clap], as Mizzy says your body is going to a little time to adjust after the BHF diet.

Janny, welcome to the SW club. I am sure you will find it easy to follow once you have got used to it.

Fiona, home you get BT sorted soon. We get everything from Homecall, line rental, free calls and broadband all for one price. We also have a Syke phone for phoning the US.

Karen, glad to hear Lily is being a real puppy, in other words keeping you on your toes.

Mizzy, I am sure you will either stay the same or loose this time as you are so determined.

Off for a long walk with the dog now, I need to get back into my usual exercise routine. I am determined to get those 6lbs off before I go to Florida.

Hello all, got all excited this morning, phone line came back on about 7.20 - off again by 7.35 - just time to go online and wonder why I couldn't download any emails[msnmad]. Today I am going into print[}] as mega-miffed of Maidenhead.

ED and I managed to miss a dental appointment yesterday (oh I wonder why?) and I went in this am to apologise and tell them about her. Both the receptionist and I burst into tears, she just cannot believe it, we have been going to the surgery since she was a tot. We haven't heard again from the hospital since the MRI and CT scan so are working on the policy of no news is good news. We have appointment next week with the consultant when we will hopefully know more.

Anyone took the hounds out this morning, heard last record before I parked was U2 It's a Beautiful Day, and do you know it is, so decided I would have a pep talk to myself about glass being half full not half empty and enjoyed my walk round. Sometimes just being alive is enough.

Anyway dreary musings over, got back late from work last night (again) so didn't have time to make the fritatta before I whipped out with the hounds. So general concensus from DH and ED was ham egg and SW chips, which is what we had. ED did the chips, only slightly overboiled them. So we have invented a new dish - cheesy mush! Slightly soft chips with nice roasted flavour, chopped red onion and grated cheese on top under the grill to melt the cheese and brown everything. Delicious!

6.45 am dogs woofing their heads off, finally I get up and look and lo and behold it is the errant YD who is meant to be at Reading Festival. She was filthy, tired and starving, came home for a shower and a nap, it is so cold camping she cannot sleep. Anyway bought her some food, let her have a quick nap and dropped her off at the station.

Working tomorrow and Monday so will have some access over the weekend. Have a good hols everyone and if you can't be good, be careful.

Karen - we want to see more pics of Lily, they are adorable scamps at that age.

Well done Janice 2lb off is very good[clap]
Haven't got much time today to post as doing last minute packing and cleaning the house ready to leave early tomorrow morning. Have done on line check in, so hopefully things will run smothly.
Have just spoken with my step daughter, Natalie, who is going to join slimming world next week. She is trying to loose a bit of weight ready for her wedding next April. She is getting married in Antigua. I have told her about this site and hopefully she will start to post as well.
Must go now, but good luck to everyone for their weigh ins next week.
