Vegetable stir fry with quorn chichen pieces tonight. The chicken is on special offer in Tesco £1 per pack. Also bought the quorn meat, but they didn't have any of the spice sausages only cumberland.

well ladies i'm officially without a caterer for my anniversary bash[msncry] i've spent the afternoon ringing around but no one who i fancy seems to be available at such short notice, why oh why didn't i sort this out sooner[msnsad]

it's not a massive bash, only about 28 people so it looks like i'm doing it myself with perhaps a little help from my mum (she's a retired cook!)

Janice if your on a red/original day today you can have chicken in your stir fry, also are you having any sauce, there are some nice stir fry sauces about, my favourite is teriyaki from asda 2.5syns per serving (about 1/3rd of the jar)

a word in your ear Janice, quorn has very little taste so if you have no stir fry sauce then i would stick the quorn pieces into some sort of marinade before adding them to your stir fry, no marinade then soy sauce will do

Jackie, well done on the gold stars, and glad the teeth are starting to feel better.

Mizzy, at least if you do the catering you will be able to do some SW friendly things, pasta quiches. frittatas, SW scoth eggs, sausage rolls etc. I am sure most people won't be aware of what they are eating.

Food diary today
Cereal and fruit
Grilled spiced chicken sandwish on foccacia bread, gave most of the bread to the men
Just had 2 plums and a Alpen light summer fruit bar - 3.5 sins
Going out for a meal tonight at the local Italian.

We have had two good walks today but otherwise had a very lazy day. We were intending to go up the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth but there was an hour wait so none of fancied that so just had lunch instead and then did some shopping. Bought 2 pairs of jeans, both size 12 and they weren't tight. DH was most impressed in fact he was getting size 10s out for me to try on, but I didn't think I would push my luck.

1 very large skiiny latte = 2 x HC a's
sammys organic italian pesto cous cous - free on green days[msnwink]
muller lemon cheesecake 0.5 syns
omelette with new pots, peas and mushrooms, 1 tbsp of olive oil = 1 x HC b
Hi Fi bar = 1 HC b
1 small extra skinny latte 5 syns
more fruit and yog later = 1 syn
2 litres of water[angel]

total syns today 7.5[msnsmile2]

Thanks for all of your kind comments about Lily, she was 10 weeks old Sunday, we could have had her 2 weeks ago but we were in Florida. I must apologise that I havnt been following everybody's successes and struggles lately as have been a tad busy with our new little (or not so little) bundle of joy. On the plus side though, havnt had much time to be eating the naughty foods either. I will try hard to keep up with everybodys news as asap. Lily seems to have settled quite well, rather hectic yesterday and was exhausted by 8pm, just in time for the 3rd power cut of the day. Electricity back on 5am today and Lily has been an angel today, just hope she continues to be so good. She can start going out properly on the lead in 10 days and from there on I am hoping the walking will be good for my weight loss[msnwink].

Sorry for such a long post, where not much of it is about slimming, but I feel almost as proud as I did when I had my 3 children[msnoo]. Dont tell them though[msnwink].

Good morning ladies. I can't beleive I'm the first to post today. Where are you all??? Another bowl of Special K for brekie this morning, getting rather fed up with it now, would love to have a bowl of fruit and nut or something.
Have lost 3lb since having my brace fitted. But off to Florida on Saturday so will probably put this straight back on again.
