Well my DH has just announced that he's taking me out for dinner tonight. What a lovely surprise and ages since just the two of us went out alone. So my mums coming around to babysit in just over an hour, so its in the bath for me now![msnwink] (glad I had my hair done yesterday now!!)

I feel dreadful. I haven't had an alcoholic drink pass my lips since last November and I drank far too much last night. From what I can remember I did have a really good night though.

DH returned home yesterday and it was lovely to have him home, had a lie-in this morning and then went for a longish walk with the two dogs. Going to have a relaxing afternoon.
Paula, poor old you, I must admit I have not given up alcohol at all, I still have between 5 and 7 drinks a week but I do make those my sins and rarely have other sins, occasionally a Solero and one or two others but that's all so I never feel guilty.

No breakfast as I really didn't want anything
Salad and quorn minted lamb burgers, didn't think much of them, very little flavour. Nectarine and cherries
Going to make a frittata for supper and have salad and new potatoes. Fruit.

Thanks Jill and Paula, we had a lovely night last night. Ended up at one of my favourite Italian restaurants and daren't confess what I actually ate!!![msnembarrased][msnembarrased]...and drank!!
So after all the calories consumed last night I have been very good today with the minimum of calories, but eaten well...if you know what I mean,...lots of fresh fruit and salad things.
Paula...hope you're feeling better this evening. you deserve a good night out after the week you've had.......a little of what you fancy does you good and all that[msnwink]
