Julie you look amazing, but you are an example to us all because you (and you too Mizzy) seem to keep so much on the straignt and narrow more than the rest of us do!
Home from work absolutely starving so finished off the rest of salad I had for lunch, and 2 ryvitas with cottage cheese and 4 baby toms. Tomato pasta for supper and no booze as am saving myself for anniversary supper at Italian restaurant tomorrow night (28th not 29th - can't even remember how long I have been married, honestly!!)
Jill - you are near Hayling Island aren't you? Am quite happy to travel, but do they need to check out our home first? In which case we are too far. Battersea have loads in London, but we all have to go up, DH works 6 days a week and plays golf on the 7th, so that's a no-go. Am phoning round yet more charities - in fact, give my brain a reality check, will pop in to the vets and ask them if they know any, dogs need their vaccinations anyway.
Am trying to summon the strength to take the hounds to the woods again.
Alison - you need to allow for the dried fruit and nuts in the muesli - or you can check on the SW site for it's values. If you put the manufacturer on I will check for you if you like. It can be the little things like that that completely snooker the diet. There is no reason why you should not have potatoes / rice / pasta with your main meal - just decide whether you are on a red or green day as this gives you the quantity. You can eat plenty more fruit if you want to.
