    Good morning all.

Allison, why don't you try working out your menus for the next week, doing the shopping and then sticking to it that way. No shopping equals no temptation to buy something you shouldn't. Try following one of the 7 day meal plans, either from the SW web site or from the magazines.

Mizzy may have a better idea though.

Off to Fleet shortly for the agility demonstration but have to smarten Tansy up first, walk, wash and then brush, she will love the first but only tolerate the second and hate the third, still I keep telling her it's all in the line of duty.

Have packed a picnic for Brian and myself, salad and fruit with a few extras for him. Probably will succomb to an ice cream during the day though - I will have a Solero and share it with Tansy - so only 2.5 syns that way.

Out to friends for a BBQ this evening.

Paula glad to hear you are having a good time, Cracker Barrell is a killer for diets so what did you have?

Have a good Saturday all, weather is superb down here.

Alison I have some choc everyday. Usually a packet of cadbury highlights honeycomb nibbles, only 4 sins, yes it is small but enough. Every Friday I have a treat, last night I had a packet of minstrals 10.5 sins but the were accounted for and within my allowance.

I also do not have any choc in the house apart from Friday as I know it would call me to the cupboard and I would not resist.

Also as Jill says plan your meals, I only do a couple of days at a time, can't seem to think for a whole week. I find this works as I know exactly what we are having and everything is all ready, no last minute thinking 'what can we have' and then grabbing something like a pizza out of the freezer (not that I have got any pizzas in the freezer)[msnwink]

Have a look at the magazine, plenty of ideas there too.

i'm meeting up with Alison on thurs (we live not far from each to other) so i'll bring you some mags Alison to get you started

i know you say you won't lose that amount in eight weeks but if you lose 2lb a week then you'd be pretty much there and even if you only lose 1lb a week it still 8lbs which does make a big difference, there's no fast track miracle that keeps weigh off for good Alison you just need to follow the plan and stick to a sensible approach and you should lose around 3-4lbs in the first week and like Sally says a little bit of choc built in i the way to go, cadburys mini choc and honeycomb bites (jam aisle in morrisons) are good or 2 finger kit kats

i'm planning on having an angelic weekend, much regret eating those 3 slices of pizza now[msnembarrased]

    have a good day everyone

    Mizzy

is there a plan for a fast track weight loss-wherer they sometimes restrict some foods when you first start?

Seem to remember that from somewhere.

Thanks everyone. I really am being very good. I think it's because I didn't know my starting off weight that has made things a bit more difficult (but at least I know what I am now!)

My daughter's friend was so surprised when she heard I was dieting she said 'there's nothing on her! I love her to bits-but she must be wearing beer goggles when she sees me-lol!

I eat lots of melon-I know there are some super slim foods and was just wondering if I should base my diet on more of them.

For some strange reason I think bacon was one-maybe I'm wrong.

I opted for the roast beef dinner and had mash with it and veg........OMG it was fantastic.
Almost forgot chesse and broccolli soup for starters and apple and pecan pudding for dessert, I did share this with Mum though. The Cracker Barrel is such a nice place to eat, nice fresh home cooked meals.

Mizzy</u> for some reason I can't access parts of the forum I'd like to, something to do with cookies on the pc here in Florida so I can't answer DM's. The cost was for each but IMHO well worth it, I wouldn't hesitate to pay again. If you want to email me you know my address.[msnsmile2]

Morning gals from a very hot Missouri - 100 degrees today.

Had a fabulous time on the pontoon boat, and we are hiring a speedboat on Monday!

Am being reasonably good[msnwink], yesterday was bagel with slice of cheese & tea for breakfast, omelette and salad for lunch, rotisseried chicken and salad and oven chips for supper, along with tons of cherries Had 2 mouthfuls of auntie annies pretzel with my bottle of water at the cinema yesterday - saw The Devil Wears Prada (bliss for anyone who likes shoes and handbags!). Am just off to do breakfast of porridge and fruit.

The condo we are in is up on the 4th floor so am amongst the treetops with a lovely view of the lake. Squirrels are leaping around at eye level and can here loads of birds - see some spectacular coloured ones here, and there is a woodpecker that comes and attacks the nearest tree every so often. There are some little animals that look like beavers but with smaller tails - any suggestions anyone? I did wonder if they were possums or gophers, but the tail isn't right for the gophers and they look quite different from a possum. Will have to go out with my camera and snap them and then investigate on the net once we are home!

Have a good rest of the day - and please keep the good weather for when we get home next week (net I have dead lawn and flowers[msnsad])!
    Fiona
