Mizzy-I love those two poems.
I had a 'Holland' baby too-thankfully I had two Italian ones before.
My youngest son had cleft lip and palate and talipes of hands and feet thrown in for good measure.He also had eye problems as well.
His early years were a round of hospital appointments and operations, speech therapy, orthodontics, eye appointments and so on.
I remember one snowy week in February we had 4 hospital appointments out of 5 working days.
He is still waiting to have major surgery this year again to make him look a little better and he will be 25 this year.
I also lost my eldest son last year as some of you will already know-and I would give anything to have him back in any shape or form-because nothing is as bad as losing your child.
My greatest comfort are my two adorable grandsons from my daughter and my son with the cleft lip and palate and thankfully we landed in Italy with both of them.
I don't know why I was chosen to have so much tragedy in my life-but I hope and pray that that's the lot-I don't think I can stand any more.
Even my mother who is nearly 79 has been warned that she had better buck her ideas up, lose some weight and stay healthy-lol.
Had a good day today I hope.
Did put some olive oil in evening's stir fry-but have been so good with not having any cakes, chocolates, biscuits etc it should be ok.
My friend thought I looked a bit thinner around the middle.

Mizzy I too was very moved by your Holland poem, that is such a beautiful piece.
I am so excited that you girls are meeting up in York on Friday.
Make sure you take a photo, I wish I could meet up too, it will be great fun for you all.
Sally that photo is wonderful, and I too wonder what you have to lose, you look fabulous.
Congrats Julie & Paula on your losses this week, well done to everyone else in their efforts, and motivation!
I have the big Irish Ball in Melbourne this Saturday! I have lost 5 lbs in total for it! I was hoping it would be a stone, but I think I was dreaming!
I am delighted about 5lbs, and hope to have the remainder off by our summer (November time!)
I tried my dress on and it looks fine, so I am happy!

Mizzy, I just love your poems, I read them out to Brian and we both agreed that your are truly wonderful with your outlook on life. I do hope all your desires for your children come true, you all truly deserve happiness.
Alison, you have also had your problems and have obviously come through smiling, well done. As we met you and Y in Florida with your gorgeous grandson in February you have done so well.

It has been raining here since 7am so no car boot sale for us today. Off to the RSPCA for my voluntary stint today.
Will catch up with everyone's news later. Can't remember if anyway has a weight-in today but if they do good luck.
