OV Slimming Club Part 3!

Caitlin starts secondary in September 2007. Applications have to be in in November though which is why most open evenings are before the schools break up for summer.

I really didn't think this would be such a difficult decision to make, one of the best schools in Liverpool is a good hour's bus journey away so I would rather she went closer to home so I could take Eve and Caitlin into school and pick them both up. Lot's of other Mums at school say I worry too much but if she went to this school she would be out of the house longer than her Dad is at work.........then I worry about the winter when she would be going to and from school when it's dark. Sorry for rambling....the joys of parenthood. [msncry][msncry][msncry][msncry]

I did get a perfect school report today which cheered me up[msnsmile2]

I have just had a look at Betty's menu and as I am unable to go would one of you please have the banana and toffee pancakes for me[msntongue]

my son goes up into secondary next year too Paula, but it's very, very different for us

because he has SEN we have to have yet more reports, school psychologists, peadiatrician, speech and language, annual education review etc etc; the list is blooming endless and the school choice is incredibly limited

looks like i'm in for a fight to get my choice of school (you cannot claim a sibling link to a special school that's out of your authority even if both children have the same diagnosis)[msnmad][msnmad][msnmad]

luckily i'm a fully informed parent and know all my rights so i am all set and in contact with the relevant legal bodies for when the fight commences[msnwink]


hope the choosing for you is easier and when the time comes you feel like you've made the right choice, i agree with you an hour away is too far no matter how good the school

and as for worrying it's comes with the job of being a mother so you worry away and i'll be joining you too[msncry][msncry][msncry]

Yes it is Sally, wish you could have made it! Looks like it will be Me, Mizzy, Carole and hopefully Sharon, Julieanne is moving house and Paula has schools to visit, Fiona is away, Kazzie has her daughters exams, Liz and Janny were too far for this one (need the next one to maybe be in the Midlands or somewhere more midway between where everyone is located) thats all I can remember[msnwink]

Lets start thinking about a good date for all in December (before all the Xmas partys start and before the children break up)[clap]

Well, I stayed the same[msnsad], not as bad as I expected though as this weather tends to make my feet swell something awful and felt very bloated for a few days now. Havnt had much of an apetite either with how hot its been, but I suppose thats not a bad thing.

My daughter starts secondary school in 2007 too but we like the school that is in our catchment area and dont see a problem with her getting in there. Both of her brothers went there and did fine. We dont have to have our applications in until around February time.

Glad to hear that you are enjoying yourself Fiona, although how could you not enjoy Florida?[msnwink] 29 days for us before we go out to the villa, so still a little time to lose a few more pounds (please God)

Sorry that I cannot make the meet this time as my daughter has a ballet exam, hopefully will make the next one. Hope you all enjoy the day and dont overdo the eating[msnwink]

Lovely photo Sally, very photogenic the pair of you. You are nothing like I expected you to be somehow, although not really sure what I expected you to look like[msnoo]. You must be very close to your target weight too as you dont look at all overweight to me.

My youngest daughter Jessica starts senior school in September[msncry]. She is going tomorrow to spend the day there. She has Hannah there, who will be going into year 10, so not too daunting for her.

Staying the same is fine Karen, hopefully next week you will have a loss.
