Well I had a little boost yesterday A friend I haven't seen for a month commented on how I looked and it was to the good -so it goes to show being good on holiday was not in vain.[msnsmile]

I have really got back into the swing of things and did a big shop yesterday and now the fridge is full of healthy bits and lots of fruit and veg.

Just got off the treadmill and have kept the time the same but upped the speed so I cover more distance and I certainly feel as if I am reaping the benfits of regular exercise and a good eating regime now.My skin which has been awful -as I have suffering from hormonal acne is -for the first time in 2 years -looking good and blemish free and that is witout any hrt .

Have a good weekend everyone .Keep up the good work all.

well ladies i'm back and i have had a wonderful time[msnsmile] but i have missed you

i have had a quick read back and i'm now struggling to remember who's doing what

well done to those who are on track and to those struggling, hang on in there[grouphug]

Jackie, no SW is nothing to do with counting cals, it's about eating properly and not depriving yourself, trust me i eat lots and lots, it may be helpful for you to download a 7 day menu from thier website and that would start you off

Julie B, just hang on in there and try not to worry about losing weight over the rest of these summer hols, just limit the damage as best you can it's only a few more weeks and the little darlings will be back at school[msnwink]

Happy Birthday Jill[clap] hope you have a good one!

    right back to my hol

our plan to get the men to cook worked really well and yes we used paper plates for the kiddies so very little washing up
the setting was gorgeous, the hot tub divine and we had a family of swans, their signets and various ducks visit us on the lake shore everyday
my little chap cried for most of the way home and is just starting to cheer up a little now

now as to the food and drink part, here goes, to start with i must say in my defence that i did TRY to be good and eat sensibly and all the bbq food was free food but the rest went something like this

3 cream teas, one very large ice cream and cookie sundae, 3 freshly cooked hot sugary donuts, one fish and chip supper with white bread and butter

one super large yorkshire pudding filled with beef, carrots, new pots and peas followed by one hot chocolate surprise, one chinese take away (well the men deserved a few nights off after all their efforts with the bbq)

and to drink one half size bottle of tia maria with diet coke and one or two malibu and pineapples

so what do you think do i need to go and stand in the corner?[msnembarrased][msnembarrased][msnembarrased]

i have been weighed and it looks like the damage for this little lot is 2.5 - 3lbs max, i will know for definate on monday night and hey you never know i may have lost some of that by then

it's so good to be back[msnsmile2]

Welcome home Mizzy....sounds like you had a wonderful time and yes, now go stand in that corner[msnwink][msnwink]...only joking. If you cant relax and enjoy some of the naughties whilst on holiday, then when can you????? You have been so good to lose all that weight beforehand you deserve some "time out". Anyhow 3lbs in nothing and I bet you can lose that again in a week or two.

Well I may as well stand in the corner with you Mizzy!!!!! Just been tomy Harrys Birthday party, 14 children, play center, lots of lovely sandwiches, sausages, crisps, cake, chocolate...you name it , I nibbled it[msnembarrased][msnembarrased]. Been on the bouncy castle to lose a few calories and think I've put my back out....[msnembarrased][msnembarrased][msncry]..serves me right for thinking I'm young!!!

Welcome back Mizzy, sounds like you had a lovley holiday and to only put on 3lbs is very good. I always come back from my hols half a stone heavier[msnsad]

We are going out for a meal tonight, which will be interesting as my teeth are still hurting. Not sure if porridge and jelly will be on the menu

Mmmmmmmmmm cream teas, I love them[msntongue]

Just off to a BBQ, girl from work is emigrating to Brisbane and she is throwing a party.

Don't plan to eat anything there will have something when we get home. Won't be staying too long as the dog needs walking and no husband to do it this weekend.

i have lots of rushing about to do today so should help keep my mind off food a little

i am trying to post some pictures but it takes me a while so if you can bear with me you may get one or two

we had a lovely time, the children got to make their own rock with their initial running through it and chocolate lollipops at the John Bull factory, we had some lovely farm visits, a memorable visit to mr moos ice cream farm where we ate enormous sundaes, my daughters was called a "cow pat" which was huge and very chocolatey[msneek] and i had a giant cookie monster sundae which i struggled to finish it was that big[msntongue][msnembarrased][msnsmile2]

i have a birthday party to go to this afternoon for my nephew and i also need to pop and visit my dad whose birthday was on friday

will catch you later, be good

Mizzy, great to have you back, glad you had a good holiday. You certainly seem to have packed a great deal in.

Went to a friends for supper last night, was very good, it was a buffet and stuck to cold meat and salad then fresh fruit.

However today I have been bad, been out to an BBQ this afternoon and ate far too much, there were delicious sausages and I had three plus a beefburger. Also had three or four glasses of wine.

Came away thinking I would be very good for the rest of the week then MIL rang and said would we like to go and see here tomorrow and go our for a meal. I will not be looking forward to weigh-in this week. I will be trying to up the exercise over the next four days, extra walks etc. and maybe a cycle ride or two.

    Hello Girls

Oooh Mizzy is back I see. Glad you had a good holiday, and don't worry about the weight, just think of the happy times you and the family have had, and enjoy it, without guilt!

I don't really get on much these days, I am still exercising and being good, but the times are all wrong for me, nobody is around when I am, which is just the way it goes, serves me right for being so far away.

I will just pop in from time to time, and see g'day, don't think I am abandoning you all!

Welcome back Mizzy, glad you had a lovely hols - that's what they are for! Just get back on track and it will soon be off.

Funny day down here, pouring with rain when I took the hounds out - have massive blister on heel from putting trainers on 1st time for months on Friday and couldn't walk in them today - cue me slip sliding along in flip flops in the rain, so quick walk this am.

Then off to the Farmers Market, got 2 doz eggs (laid yesterday), tomatoes so fresh the taste is just incredible! Then went off to mum's and had snack lunch of ham & salad mini roll and tomatoes. Mozzerella pasta for supper so not too bad.

Took the dogs out again this pm, 10 mins into walk, heavens opened - no brolly, nor anorak with hood on - wearing denim jacket as had been warm afternoon. So got soaked[msnmad] and soon gave up. My dogs are [angel]s and I will have to do extra long walk with them tomorrw. Heel is still sore though so let's hope it has healed more by tomorrow.

Who get's weighed tomorrow - is it Julie? Good luck if anyone checking in at the mo.
    Fiona
