Well I need an excuse to shop in M&S to get the free cherries! (Something tells me that may be a false economy but can always buy DH his booze for the week!)

Made the tuna and grilled pepper salad for supper -delicious, but mental note, make the peppers much earlier, and I had forgotten how fiddly they are.

Karen they became 2 when the Claws lady told me it would be better to take 2 as they would wreck each other not our home. 2 children, 2 dogs, 2 cats - what difference does it make!!

Much better here today, not too hot so feel like planning and doing things today.

Been busy in the kitchen this morning, getting ready for tomorrow[msnsmile2]

Made the scotch eggs, didn't have any scan bran so used wholemeal nimble breadcrumbs, looks and smell good. I also used bowyers 95% fat free mediterranian sausages. Made Jessica the cheesy sausage rolls in this months mag. Planning on having chicken and bacon salad and have lots of grapes and strawberries. No sure what else yet.

Also have made a quorn cottage pie for tonight, chucked in a tin of sweet chilli beans to give it a lift.

    Have a good weekend.

    Hi everyone,

Sorry, I've been out of the loop for ages, just so busy at work and although I have a term time only job (in theory) I've still had to work most of this week too otherwise its just too much to go back to in September, will probably have to work for a couple more weeks but just the odd day to two rather than all together.

Well, its just taken me 4 hours to catch up with what you've all been up to! I have to say I'm relieved to hear (not meaning to be nasty) that other people are struggling too! I've spent the last 3 weeks not being really bad but just not really getting anywhere. That is until Monday of this week, I decided that I could either waste yet more of the precious weeks before I go back to Florida (32 weeks today) or I could get of my large but slowly reducing bottie and get back to it big style[msnwink]. So I've taken advantage of the fact that my time on the treadmill is not limited to routine and done extra on that every day this week (about 50 minutes a day[angel]). So if the scales aren't kind I will not be pleased[msnmad]. We'll see in the morning.

Yesterday was my birthday, I had a lovely day and my fab husband bought me a mountain bike which I've wanted for ages so I've been out on that this morning with the kids, its was great, but a bit weird, I haven't been on a bike for years, the only thing was I couldn't really treat is as my exercise for the day cos my 7 yr old had to keep stopping to get her breath back, aaahhh, bless!

Now then Sharon, you need to get your party sorted just a bit earlier because I, just like mizzy, am returning home on 31st March so thats just not fair![msncry].

Julie - you look fantastic but I know what it means psycologically (spelling???) to actually reach target, it is very important, so I fully understand where you're coming from. By the way, Ben & Jerrys do a very nice frozen yoghurt desert called Cherry Garcia which is only 3% fat if you like cherry flavoured ice creams, its very nice[msnwink][msnwink]

    Jill nice to meet you.

Mizzy, hope the meds are finally going to be sorted for you, your dh sounds like an[angel], it is harder with the kids being off to stick to the plan. I've had to make myself be extra extra good otherwise I know I'll go off the rails completely. I know I'm late with this (cos you said Friday) but my total loss to date, since end of Feb is 2 stone. Hoping to make it 2 and a half stone by the end of the hols.

Anyone I've missed, well done if you've lost, stay positive and focused if you haven't. I'll try to check in more often again now things have calmed down again, I've missed the humour and support, don't want to catch up just once a week!!

Have a good weekend everyone, I'll post tomorrow if I've lost (or if I haven't)

    Julie B xx

it's good to hear from you Julie, i have edited the topic with the weight loss on to show your 2 stone loss

i've lost just a smidge more than you and i'm hoping (but not holding my breath) to get my 2 1/2 stone award by the time the children go back in september

i've got a holiday next sat for one week and a few birthdays in august so i'm aiming to STAY THE SAME and maintain the loss then any additional lbs will be seen as a bonus[msnwink] that way i'm under less pressure and won't have a gob on if i don't get to that award[msnembarrased][msneek]

Sharon you know what they say "men............... you can't live with them and you can't give them back to their mothers"[msnmad]

Morning all, still sunny here after some rain over night[clap]

    Well I had a blip last night[msnembarrased][msneek][msnoo]

My SIL was staying at MIL's and they had aranged an early meet up which would have been great as I had my green breakfast and lunch so all was OK, but then a second unplanned meet meant getting home very late and whilst cooking the little ones a quick pizza I had a slice[msnembarrased] then a couple of crisps[msnembarrased]then about 10 Galaxy Minstrals[msnembarrased] so I did not have a proper tea but went on to have my normal fruits and yog and HiFi bar[msneek] Hope I have got away with it[msnscared]

Back to normal again today[clap][clap] it did not feel good[msncry]
