DH has told me today that he does not think I need to loose any more weight. He said that if I loose anymore I will look too drawn and he thinks I look perfect now[msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

I am therefore going to finish this week and when I get weighed on Thursday will say that is my target.

Went for a walk today and just got going and it started raining. No anoraks so got wet, and the same thing happened this afternoon, so two soakings in one day.

    Red day for me
    Fresh fruit
    Salmon salad, apple
    HI-fi bar - HE1
    Steak, runner beans, new pototoes
G&T and glass of red wine - 12 syns

I know I said no alcohol but I had to celebrate, didn't I[?]

good evening everyone, well a great result for me in class tonight

another 2lbs off giving me a three stone award[msnoo][msnsmile2] and i've got to say ladies that you have been a great help through the ups and downs of loosing this weight so thank you so much[grouphug][grouphug][grouphug]

this morning i put on my clothes and for the first time in ages i have liked what i saw in the mirror, i feel so much better and the best is still to come

my oldest sister hurled a load of insults at me at lunchtime and i just totally ignored her, i told myself that i am not a fat heifer as she puts it and even if i'm not a size 8 or 10 then i'm still valuable as a person

Jill, [beer] here's to that target mrs, we'll all celebrate with you come thursday[clap][clap][clap]

Julie B, food diary looking pretty good, could have had a nice big baked spud with that tuna at lunch time, i know you're a salad fan but with it getting a little colder it's good to know that you can have more comforting sorts of foods

Julie, i did it!!!!!!!!!!! can you even imagine how happy i am[msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2], and i'm so glad you got on well at HO

can i have those total weight losses in ladies so i can reckon them up and tell everyone what stars we have on here[msnsmile2]

Evening all, kept to my plan, was starving when I got home this evening so had a plate of broad beans before supper. Had tons of fruit and veg today, have been reading up on diets for cancer patients and it should be 10 items of veg a day and 4 or 5 items of fruit. Going to see if I can get that down Cat although might have to be some smoothies.

Will have more news about her tomorrow, have to wait for the oncologist and surgeon to have a conflab and ring us. She may be back at MV for treatment starting Thursday.

YD is taking the whatsit again and is not YET home from college. Last message from her was at 7.20. We are both sitting up waiting for her to turn up home, someone is going to have a surprise reception[gun]!!

DH has been on the computer all evening configuring the broadband which I finally signed up for, and apart from the fact that it seems to prefer firefox to IE and it took DH hours on the phone to the helpline to get it sorted, so far it's looking good!

Spill the beans about HO Julie, was it inspiring / terrifying or what? Was the food fab? And are you now totally motivated and got loads of tips for us??

Well done Jill, you have done really well. To give you some idea of how my mind works, the thought ran through my mind of give up on the odd glass of white wine and go back to the G&T's, which I now only drink v occasionally!

Mizzy - great news [clap], take no notice of that sister of yours, what is it about some siblings who feel they can be so nasty? I thought family was meant to be there for you all the time. Big [grouphug] from us all instead.

Good luck tomorrow is it just Julie and I?

Mizzy you are a star[clap][clap][clap] Very well done mrs thats fantastic news[clap][clap]

Jill, you too very well done [clap][clap][clap] Target for you, fabulous[clap][clap][clap]

Fiona, Head Office is really nice, its a purpose built modern brick building but inside its very tastefully done, lots of lovely photo's on the walls lots of red and blue furnishing and the ladies loo is like something from a very posh 5*+ hotel (I will take my camera on Friday)!!!! We met everyone including all the mag staf, people that do the web site, everyone!

The food was wasted on me because I was not feeling very good and by the time we got in for lunch not much was left[msnsad] So I will tell more after Fri/Sat[msnwink]

    Have a great day all!!!!

about HO Fiona, the word is that they have a chef who prepares all SW meals and the syns are all counted up for you, my consultant says that the food is totally delicious and the chefs not bad either[msnwink]

well done though for sticking with the plan yesterday Fiona, it's really hard to do when you're under such a lot of stress[grouphug]

good luck to those weighing in today, i know that's both Fiona and Julie and i think that's Kazzie too?

Paula, how have you been, did you get weighed yesterday?

i'm off out this morning to get a haircut and i'm pretty certain i'm going even shorter, not sure about the colour either, i'm thinking about a diy job, the last colour looked a little harsh and for what i paid i think i may be better off doing it myself!!!

will check in much later tonight, having a halloween bash [msnscared][msnscared][msnscared]

well done mizzy for your 3 st award i bet you felt like a million dollars especially after the lunch time fiasco ive come to the conclusion these people are jealous of the acheivment, i know what it feels to get hurtful comments and in the end all you feel like doing is eating cos they make you feel worthless, its a good job you didnt do that or else it could have ruined your weigh in and your 3st milestone, oh to be there and in the same position as jill going to be at goal at next weigh in there can be no better feeling, i dont ever want to be stick thin at size 8 or 10 i will be grateful just to feel healthy and have no aches and pains so any size will do good luck to weigh ins tonight pat

Julie ½lb when you are so near target is fab! Well done gal[clap].

Banana for breakfast, bulgher wheat, cucumber, sp onion & baby toms on a bed of lettuce with cottage cheese, another banana for lunch, and mozerella pasta for supper.

DH has just come back from town with a Ripple for me! Just looked it up - finally found it - 9 syns. Ho hum, think I had better keep that for after supper and see if I haven't used anything else.

I have so much **** going on in my life that trying (although not succeeding very well) to keep on the diet plan at least gives me something to focus on. I also get to go out one night a week and just think about me, discuss recipes, have a laugh etc. I know full well if I stuck religiously to the diet plan, went to the gym regularly etc I would be losing far more weight. But I look at this as damage limitation as I know I can't just think about me. Also to be perfectly honest, if it keeps my mind off things it helps. I find when I walk the dogs if I am on my own - don't meet up with anyone say, then I do think about Cat's illness alot, and get pictures flashing through my mind of her as she was growing up, so it is very hard. But she needs me to be calm and positive for her, and that's what we mums do isn't it?

When I get home from work got to do my pumkin for halloween and make pumpkin soup for Sw tonight. No pressure then[msnwink] - or it is the clafoutis (sp??!) but as I have to do the lantern face I think the soup will have to do.
