well ladies just back from class, i've had my tea[msntongue]

i'm so proud to say that i have lost 3.5lbs this week[msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2] and i got slimmer of the week!

Sharon, good to see you back, we have missed you sweetie[grouphug]

and Pat, no i don't mind at all, i have epilepsy which is uncontrolled and the meds are a killer, i've bad side effects to one so they are now introducing another drug into the mix and these two certainly don't like each other[msnscared]

Julieanne, we want photos of the cheesecake factory and of any other naughty desserts that are calling you whilst out there[msnwink]

I made a pizza tonight but having seen something called eddoes in tesco I used those instead of sweet potatoes as they are supposed to be similar but with a nutty taste.
They cooked up slightly creamier than potatoes so I only used 1 tablespoon of flour in the mix and baked it before adding the topping.The base crisped up nicely so i turned over before putting the topping on so it was nice and crisp.

There were 3 eddoes in the bag weighing about 340 grms which I thought would make a nice size base but John wanted to try one so I only used 2 and made about an 8" base .With the puree and flour it came to about 3 syns for the whole thing .

Hi Mizzy and girls, I am here, had hospital all morning, scans/tests etc on one of my boobies but pleased to say its nothing sinister[msnsmile2] just very sore now from the prodding and poking[msnsad] got to go back in 8 weeks though for a check up, then had SW training but not at head office but at a hotel near Manchester Airport so only just got back, I am at HO on Monday so staying in a hotel Sunday night. then have two more training days on 3/4 Nov[msneek]

Mizzy very well done to you[clap][clap][clap] you so deserve that loss[clap][clap][clap] that pizza looks yummy please send me the recipe[clap]

what are eddoes janny and where about's in tesco will i find them

i'm assuming they are free on green? but how about red?

th 4.5syns for mine was all in the 28gms wholemeal flour, the rest is all free if you use your cheese as a healthy A

Julie i have posted the pizza recipe on the other topic, the only thing i would say is pretty much cook the base before adding the topping as these only take another 10 mins

good to hear thngs went well at the hospital[grouphug]

and enjoy the food at Sw head office, rumour has it they have a chef to cook you yummy Sw food all synned up and looking delicious[msnoo]

well done mizzy that is a great weight loss, keep it up im sorry to hear of your epilepsy i hope the docs get it under control with the medication are they confident they will. my next door neighbour has the same and they have hers under control and she has managed to get her driving license back so it is possible, ive had another good day i dont know where the determination has come from but long may it continue, at this rate i deserve to lose half a stone, but i know it will probably be 1-2lbs but that will do fine, signing off see you tomorrow pat

Well done on the weight loss Mizzy, hope you are feeling better. What do these pizzas taste of Mizzy and Janny? I can't quite get my head round the sweet potato.

Mizzy sorry haven't been to Bluewater in Oxon, all I do is whizz up and down the M40 trying to get up and down from Oxford as fast as possible.

Back to the Radcliffe in Oxford tomorrow afternoon to see the consultant's registrar as he is on hols, so packing will be removed and they can see the results of the plastic surgery and hopefully we get some sort of timescale for next appointment where suggestions and decisions will be made. We have appointment with consultant radiologist next Monday at Mount Vernon in Northwood where I hope we are going to get some sort of a definitive answer as to likelihood of it zapping the cancer enough to kill is if it has gone to the bone, once that has happened the Oxford doctors can make their decision / suggestions.

Was lying in the bath last night and looked down, cannot believe it is 2 years since I got my diagnosis, I really thought by now I would have some closure on it, but I cannot reschedule my op until I know what is happening with Cat. Also the darn tablets have so many horrible side effects, my hands puff up with fluid within a couple of hours of taking the tablets in the morning, my rings go from being loose and sliding round to being so tight I have to take them off. And I sometimes move round like an old crock as get lots of joint pain, particularly in my legs, it does wear off after I walk round for about 5 mins, but I look a right sight when I first get up and hobble around!

Think I am going to have to start going back to the gym or at least swimming, now the fireworks are around dogs are in a state of panic every evening and are terrified to go outside. So missing out on my second 45 mins of exercise!

Have a good day tomorrow gals, probably won't be around much apart from first thing in the morning and then late in evening. Have to get DH to tape Trinny & Susannah - have you seen the ad for it? Some charmer referring to his wife as a porker??[msnmad]
