bloomin heck i worded that post to look like that's all they eat!

what i really mean't was more of the snacks side of things, the "dip in the box" my son called it and that's what has gone, the box full of junk items like mini battenburgs, choc biscuits etc[msnwink]

now he has to dip in the fridge for a yogurt or the fruit bowl instead[msnsmile2] Julie i've never tried oatcakes but i have seen them (flat round riscuit sort of thing, is that them?) if so, can i ask what you put on them for the children or do you just eat them dry?

and which oat bars?, i've been buying tesco mini yogurt bites for the odd treat, they are oat based and have no additives or preservatives, i thought about cereal bars but it could be a slippery start back into old ways for me and i'm determined to keep up the good work[msnsmile]

Jill and Alison it's lovely to hear from you in sunny florida

Alison i did see your car a few weeks ago in wilkinsons car park and was going to leave a note under the wiper but wasn't sure if you would be able to reach it[msnsad] if you wan't to meet up again for a coffee when you get back just dm me and we can arrange something, sorry to hear about life taking over, i know what you mean, look after yourself[grouphug]

well ladies these mondays are coming around really fast, weigh in for me tonight and i feel rather fat and bloated, will not jump to conclusions just gotta wait and see[msneek]

a new week, so lets see if we can all make it a great one ladies!!!!

Hi girls, Mizzy I hope you are ok, poor love.

I am on cloud nine, I have lost 2.4 lbs this week! So a great week. I have been really good and walking heaps. A friend stopped her car and yelled out the window to me this morning, to say I looked like I had lost weight, so that boosted me to do another circuit, as I was out walking with my MP3 player.

I am having a really good week, in my home life too, it certainly makes a difference when things are going well, no emotional reaching for the cupboard!

Yesterday I went into the City and discovered an English Shop! Selling Persil, Omo, Bounce, etc etc. I bought Hellmanns Light Mayo which I haven't had for 11 years, so exciting. How many syns?
I also bought Birds Light Custard. I also got the kids some Hula Hoops which they thought were amazing, as you only get crisps here, no weird or wacky shapes. I also got some Cadbury Cream Egg Chocolate which you can't get here, and they were ooohing and aaahing over that. My 5 year old definately wants to visit England now... ha ha ! I can't describe how I felt being in the shop surrounded by English products, it was just like being whisked home for a few minutes. Sigh!

    Have a good week all!

Well done Mizzy, my girls are always saying that their friends are staggered when they visit us as there is never any junk in the house! Well to eat that is - sadly tons of the other, I could do with those people that come and make you throw half your stuff out, no I am just going to have to be firm and spend a few hours every week sorting through stuff.

This is my new resolve, along with get myself back on track foodwise. I am also feeling rather fat and bloated, and will have had nothing to do with having the odd glass of wine, or two, for the past week, not to mention eating bread as I am having a roll for lunch as it is quicker than eating a salad. I was only thinking yesterday as I walked the dogs, that if things had gone to plan, I would have woken up on Sunday with a lovely flat stomach, sigh. Anyway, will have to crack the whip with myself and get back on track and get rid of most of my stomach under my own steam! I know I have alot going on but hey, life is for living and I intend doing the rest of it somewhat lighter than I am now!![msnwink]

    So food plan for today
    porridge with skimmed milk
roll with grated cheese & 1 tsp chutney, baby toms & cuc
    chopped melon[clap]
chicken breast suffed with chopped garlic, basil & rind of lemon juice, wrapped in parma ham and baked in oven, served with new pots & salad.
more melon - can you tell I got a job lot at the market!!

Mizzy I eat oatcakes, they are delicious, I also buy Waitrose own and Duchy Originals which are delicious. Your children might find them dry to start off with but you do get used to them. Sliver of cheese, cottage cheese, marmite with cucumber or something - v tasty.

Teresa we will be sending you food parcels of hula hoops next!!

    Hello Everyone,

    Well, I'm . I weighed in yesterday and 2lb off this week[clap].
But I feel I've really earned both of them!

I didn't get weighed at SW class last week so I've stuck to my own weigh day! (Don't think I'll go on Thursday!)

Busy day moving furniture yesterday followed by 2 lots of visitors (but no nibbles!), my brother and his family first and then later my sister and her husband (the ones we're going to florida next march with). Its so lovely to see everyone.

40 mins on treadmill this morning[sporty].

    28g porridge for brekkie
    some grapes mid morning
Large tuna salad for lunch with wholemeal pitta, with an apple and nectarine
    satsuma mid pm
    tea? don't know yet!

A question for you, if I was on a green day, how much tuna/chicken etc could I have as a healthy extra?

    Julie B

Julie b, well done on your loss!!!![clap][clap][clap] Did you join last week if so you should have the healthy b's list in your book?

Why not try another class if you found that one boring, its worth the effort because you learn so much to keep you going for the long term[msnwink]

Fiona I am the same, well DH is, so I have started this morning with the little ones rooms, best to do it when they are at school[msnwink][msnwink] I am going to work my way through the house, when I look around none of the junk is mine, its the children's or DH's techno stuff - the house is full of it and it drives me nuts!!!!! Its not stuff I can throw out without him knowing either [msncry] So the children's stuff is all tidy and in their rooms now so just need to get DH to shift his stuff, I did subtly ask if there is any room left in the loft[msnwink][msnwink][msnwink]I would rather it was up there where I can't see it[msnwink]

Julie B tuna in brine canned is 113gm and chicken without skin and fat is also 113gm when counting it as a healthy B choice

i have to agree with Julie though about staying to a class, give it one more go and if it's not for you check out to see if there's a better more lively class nearby, you don't have to re-join you can get weighed at any SW class across the country as long as you take your food optomising book with you[msnsmile] Congrats on the 2lb loss[clap][clap][clap]

Theresa, congratulations to you too[clap][clap][clap] you so deserve it girl!, it's so good to hear you sounding positive again and to hear that things are better at home

Julie, i de-junk when the kiddies are at school too [msnwink]

Fiona and Julie, the children will probably find the oatcakes dry, do you think i could put a thin spread of organic honey on to start them off, Jo will have smoked salmon and cucumber and will try almost anything once, we consider her the adventurous one but my little chap will be freaked out if i offered him anything like that or with marmite

i'm already offering them mini boxes of dried fuit Julie[msnsmile]

we've been to look at another school this morning for our little chap, it's a special one and out of the authority, this means a fight and possibly a tribunal if we want him to have a place, not something i'm looking forward to but have no choice in the matter really[msnsad] his sisters school is moving into a brand new building as part of this school in 2008 and James would start there sept 07, it seems the best choice for him because they have the specialist staff he needs and it's the right learning enviroment, now i just have to convince our authority of that[msnmad]

no lunch as yet because we haven't been back that long but i'm off now to remedy that

    Mizzy
