yes Janny it seems a good idea for a southern meet up too, it's such a shame we can't all get together though[msnsad]

Sally D has family up here so you never know hey Sally?, a nice weekend break with a meet up with your fellow slimmers on here and then a little christmas shopping[msnwink]

well ladies i've had a strange sort of day, i have eaten well and haven't pigged out on anything, i will own up to a bowl of fruit and fibre[msnembarrased] it's not something i'd normally fancy so like i said strange[msneek]

i've been out of sorts and i cannot remember if i have taken my epilepsy meds this morning, i've just had the pm dose so with any luck it'll kick in soon and make me feel a little bit more with it [msnscared]

Janny thats a good idea as Andover is not far, Jill is only in Hayling Island too.

Mizzy I will try and come but it really is down to what Peter has on at work. Rachel and Hannah are fine to leave but Jessica is only 11.

It would be nice to have an excuse to go and stay with my sister on my own. Carry on and arrange things and I will let you know nearer the time.

Not had too bad a day but haven't stuck to it 100%[msnembarrased], I really must try and get right back into it, don't want it creeping back on again.

i know that it's not really feasible for you to come all the way up here Sally, but it is a shame we're all so far away

so then Janny, are you going to volunteer to organise the southern one then?

meds are starting to kick in[msnsmile] feeling a little more like me again[msnwink]

    It's not impossible Mizzy.

Have just been talking to Peter about it and a little voice from upstairs said "of course I will have to go with you", see what I mean about going on my own[msnmad]

well you never know Sally, you might just get to come to both of the get togethers[msnwink]

i've got to tell you this ladies but two weeks ago i drastically changed the whole families diet

out has gone the choc biscuits, crisps and high fat, high sugar cakes and snacks[msneek]

it hasn't fazed me or my dh too much because for the most we do eat healthy but the kids have had a lot to come to terms with over the past two weeks and do you know what? i'm so proud of them i could cartwheel naked down the street[msnembarrased][msnsmile2]

my youngest has had some quite bad "down" times from giving up all that sugar and we are now after just 14 days starting to see a big difference in his food and how much more he seems willing to eat what we are eating at the table[clap][clap][clap]

i'm so ashamed that it ever got to a stage where something so drastic had to be done but i'm also very, very proud of what my children have achieved over the last two weeks[msnsmile2]

Mizzy, I have to say I have not bought biscuits for 20 years, and my children only have kettle crisps (no additives) and a few choccies on a Saturday[msnwink] the rest of the time they live on wholemeal breads, pastas etc, they have the same evening meals as me most nights and they have a lunch box with a wholemeal sandwich, fruits, organic low sugar yogurt, piece of cheese, an oat bar, a bottle of water and an Innocent smoothie for lunch[msnwink] They don't have cereals for breakfast either[msnoo] way too much sugar in most of them[msneek] Snacks in our house = fruits, oat bars or oat cakes[msnwink][clap] They also love things like cous cous, rice, wholemeal pittas etc too, we avoid additives, presevatives and any artifical colours, they drink water all day and a glass of pressed jiuce in the morning[clap]

Children these days have way too much junk, I am always horrified at what some Mums put in lunch boxes, mine often come home and tell me that their friends don't have any fruit in their lunch boxes etc.

You should feel very proud that you have done this and don't feel ashamed, you have done it and that's a good thing, better now than later or never[clap][clap][clap][clap]

Good evening all, well it is here in Florida.

Mizzy, have you thought of trying to cut out all foods with additives for the children. It has been proved that it can help children's behaviour, learning and all kinds of other things. It sounds as it you have gone a long way already. Just a thought.

Had a good day here, went to Celebration this morning, had a lovely walk round the lake and then did some shopping at the market. The rest of the day spent doing things that us homeowners have to do, shopping in Walmart for various items for the house. And of course socialising with fellow owners.

I think a southern meet up would be a good idea. I would love to come north to meet the rest of you but there and back in a day is a little far. Sally, you should advantage and go and stay with you sister. We can have Bosun for a couple of days if you wanted.

Hi everyone-just popped in from fabulous Florida.

haven't been on the thread much-life sort of took over.

Well I've fallen right off the wagon-and desperately need to get back on-feel so uncomfortable in this heat with all of this excess weight.

Glad to see so many are doing well.

Congrats to Julie-well done on your promotion-you really deserve your success.

Sorry to hear Fiona that your daughter is not well.

Jill we are here for another 2 weeks -maybe we could meet up this week for coffee-I don't think we'll go to a big meet up with Toby. DM me for my phone number.
