I like the look of this ride, only thing is I don't like heights[msnscared], will I be ok? I also don't like going on cable cars[msnembarrased], is this anything like, is there movement as in side to sideforward and backwards? Or do you just feel like there is as in the old cinedomes at Alton towers?[msnsmile]

This is a great ride, but it does give you the sense of flying and height, try and overcome your fears because the experiance is great, realistically you are only about 10feet in the air.

No side to side movements, you do get the feeling that you are swooping down a couple of times.
I enjoyed the ride it is quite smooth probably worth giving it a go.

As the seats are tiered when it starts if you mention it to one of the attendants they can make sure you sit in one that will be on the bottom row when the ride starts so you aren't that high up.

The back seats are probably only 20ft off the ground.

It is the Dome type ride though.

You can always go out before it starts if you don;t think you could cope.

This is a fantastic ride, I am afraid of heights and guess what they put us in the front seats. It was amazing, also funny as when we soared over trees mine and my SIL legs kept shooting out to miss the trees!!

Definitely give it a go... it's a great ride... and I say that as someone who also hates heights.

I found I quickly got over my fear, and went back later in the day for a second go

And if all else fails, you can always just close your eyes and block out the information to your brain that makes you think you are higher than you really are ![msnwink]

Vicky just look ahead and I'm sure you'll be fine, have you tried the Wild Arctic helicopter ride at Sea World, Soarin is much more relaxing than that.

Vicki, I don't like heights but I loved this ride.

Give it a go, you will love it.
