insurance for people with medical conditions

    Hi

I know this has been posted a few times previously but I can't find the relevant information.

Does anyone have any suggestions for medical insurance for someone over 60 with diagnosed medical conditions?

    Your help is appreciated.

    Thanks ALR

My parents, both in their 70's with various medical conditions, used AGE Concern

American Express seem to have come up with the best deal for a few of our guests.

You could also try Fortis - Countrywide compass - our broker recommends them and have just got a quote for my mother who is 77.

Mum's insurance (she's 84 with plenty of medical problems) is an annual worldwide one with AmEx and is £159 per year.

    Blott,
Does that exclude existing medical conditions? When taking out the policy I mean.

A friend of mine - aged 65 and with a heart bypass 10 years ago and no problems since - was refused by AMEX.
