Hi Guys.... right then let me see just how much i can remember[msnwink].......
My three week holiday started at birmingham airport we flew with thomsonfly thu 4/05/06 it had been a few years since i flew charter but it was nice we were stuck at the back of the plane tho because i did'nt have the meal [sick]( i don't eat them on continental or virgin and there free ) so i was'nt going to pay to add one on so being at the back ment my poor left elbow got battered to death with every trolley coming out........ anyway we flew in to sanford which again has been a while since i had been there it looked very different to me.. anyway there had been a delay at lgw which might the line for immigration was huge there was hundreds of people it took us nearly and 1 1/2 hr to clear immigration and then a further 60mins to get the car ...but we got a free up grade to a nicer car[msnwink]...
Anyway we were now on our merry way to clearwater slightly behind time we got on the 417 to the i4 and it was a straight run to tampa then across to clearwater ( i just have to praise myself here as i was designated map reader and not once did we take a wrong turn[clap]....)
Time was passing on tho and after hitting traffic i decided we needed a a quick rest and a bite to eat so we stopped at a nearby wendys...
later that evening we arrived at our accomodation for the two weeks we hired a beach front jacuzzi villa which we found on the internet at a good price considering its location...... we unpacked and settled down for the first night so we could be bright eyed and bushy tailed for the next morning..............................
.....Did i say we would wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed yeah that did'nt quite work out thanx to the air condtioning unit, the frogs in the pond and the windchimes that were hung outside my bedroom window it was like i had spent the night in a rainforest....lol but we got up and headed straight out for coffee and to stock up on supplys for the next two weeks ( oh and i took down the windchimes from the tree outside my room )....
So the first day we got to know the area went to publix found a visitors center so we took some maps and leaflets to plan our two weeks..... now we were staying at clearwater beach which was a litle drive over a bridge type road from downtown clearwater (which by the way there was nothing there except a starbucks which was my saviour because there was'nt one at clearwater beach)
the next few days we did what we had planned to do... a boat trip to sea the dolphins out at sea, days on the beach, visited a few local malls asked directions to walmart ( have to visit walmart) and drove up to new port richey.....
With the weather being so fantastic it did'nt take long for me to tan up and get burnt now i normally don't burn being naturally brown but it was sooooo hot we decided to have a couple of days not just lazying on the beach so we spent a few days exploring nearby places..
Clearwater beach had some fab seafood places to eat looking out over the water we went to jimmys and shells and it was at shells that i had lobster for the first time ive always wanted to try it but never had the guts to order it but it was yummy it came on skewers with with steak and rice!!!!
on the friday it was raining and you know what its like when it rains in florida the heavens opened all the locals are thankful for the water and im standing there thinking great its like being at home so we went to the movies it was opening night for poseidon so we watched that it was brilliant...... well i thought so anyway...
By the weekend the sun was shining again we went to st petes beach and stopped at john pass village where there was shops resturants etc..... also on our journey we came across a new coffee shop ( now i should have mentioned im a coffee fanatic i seek them out and try alsorts i cannot get enough coffee so there yes my name is sarah and im addicted to coffee) i don't know if any of you have been to one but it was called " The Bad Ass Coffee company" i loved it it was all done
