    Benny's Bonza Break.....

PLY-LGW went without hitch. LGW to MCO (post it reminder: book premium economy next time) Cattle class was just that, my 6ft OTH suffered with some metal box that was strategically placed under the seat infront! Hey ho, we are so excited, we suffer!

MCO to hotel with Mears great, (I know this is a villa site, but as there was just the two of us this time, we tried it this way)Hotel was lovely comfy enough for laying head and using the pool.

Arrived at 1830 which left me an hour to get the Hire car from Holiday Inn I-drive (booked from link above) by 1930 hrs and then on to collect the park tickets from the office from link above, which is due to close at 2030hrs.

The OTH says "look" pointing in the distance "there's the Holiday Inn .......Let's walk!"
"what's wrong with the I-trolley for a Dollar?" I politely but tiredly interject
"It's not that far, we can see it"...........[msnscared][msnmad]

1925hrs collected car from very pleasant chap (who kept looking at his watch, can't think why?!) lovely free upgrade from the booked "get us to A to B economy" to a "hey look at me dude [msncool], in my country I'd be driving this if I were sat here" kind of car! (OTH no licence!)

"Can you point us in the right direction for this place please?" I say to nice watch man in my best Bridgett Jones accent whilst showing him the address to the ticket office........
"Sorry Ma'am (gosh I've been promoted!) but I'm from New England and only been here a week, you'll have to find it yourself!"[msneek]

So with memories of going round a roundabout the wrong way in Tenerife, fresh in my mind, we head off......after 10 minutes trying to work out how to move the seat forward and how to change gear in an automatic......(yes I know, but there is a way!).....we're off!

After 30 mins of driving that reminded me of a sketch from Keeping Up Appearances we got to the office (lovely people!) got the tickets, and headed off to dinner.

We were there, I had survived the drive... the first week went so fast, I promise the next installment will be short [msnsmile2]
