If you had to choose just ONE between Blizzard Beach and Wet 'n' Wild, (leaving out the others) which one would you choose to spend a warm day?

There is no comparison. Blizzard Beach is miles ahead of Wet and Wild. The slides are better, the landscaping is better and Blizzard beach is alot bigger.
There is only one winner.

This is a no brainer: Blizzard beach no doubt about it. Wet n wild pales in comparison in almost every area. And you'd spend the whole time running accross the hot concrete trying not to burn your feet! (they didnt think that one through did they).
I took a quick vote amongst my family, 6 of us ranging from age 12 to 52 all voted for blizzard.

Wet'n'Wild is best in the evenings when it is cooler. We sometimes go there if we have an Orlando Flex ticket, as you can then get in free. Nice way to cool off after a day at Universal or IoA.
Wet'n'Wild is also very popular with the guests who stay in the International Drive hotels as many of them can either walk to it or get a free shuttle from their hotel. We stayed at the Holiday Inn there once and our two teenagers walked to it and left us back at the hotel to relax!!!
Lots of local teenagers use it in the evenings after school, as well. So if you have teenagers it might be a nice place for them to get to meet some local kids of their own age.

Thanks everyone. I've been to WnW but not to BB so I asked. I thought WnW was OK but was not sure of BB. But your vote seems to be going strongly towards BB and since our villa will be closer to that park, I guess we'll go there.
PS: I did not notice the hot concrete bit when we went to WnW. But it had rained a couple of hours earlier and it probably cooled the floor!

BB is brilliant, we went in June and went on Summit Plummet twice well worth it, the ski runs they have are great too.
We spent the whole day in there, but had to break off for an hour due to storms. One tip we didn't know before is that if the park has to shut down before 1pm then you get your ticket valid for another days visit (up to a year I think)
Have a good time

Thanks. We are going in late April (after Easter) and early May and am told that rain is unlikely at that time. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Our last visit was in August and it rained quite a bit although it did not spoil our trip.quote:

BB is definitely better than W'nW, but one reason we used to go to W'nW is that they used to do reduced price ticket after a certain time (not sure if they still do). I don't think BB do this, but may be wrong.

I was under the impression that one got a few free entries to BB with the Disney Hopper Plus passes. That is a better value than the Flex tickets. For instance, if we decided that we did not want to go the WnW, neither Flex ticket is then a good value.quote:Originally posted by Gillian-B
