    disney resort hotels

    Dear All
We were wondering if you have to be a guest or have a dinner reservation to be able to visit one of the disney resort hotels.
We found a site that mentions the Chip and Dale Campfire at Fort Wilderness, which is free. You can take your own food but they do sell marshmallows etc to toast on the fire. If you have any advice about this or any other resort hotel activities your knowledge would be very much appreciated.
    Regards, Mark and Tracy.

You do not need to be a guest. At some of the resorts, you can just get off the monorail, have a bite to eat and get back on.

We have visited many of the Disney resort hotels, just to look around eat at restaurants, look round the shops etc. Don't think Disney turn anyone away when it comes to "Sharing the magic"[msnwink]

we did something similar to this at the davy crockett ranch disneyland paris

it was great fun for the little ones, i'm sure it'll be even bigger and better in florida, you'll have to let us know when you get back

a word of caution dh got bitten to hell by the local insects that where hidden in the hay bales and attracted to the fire, not sure if you'll need insect repellant for florida (but someone on here will know!!)

It may pay you to check whether you need reservations for some of the very popular ones, depending on what time of year you are going.

    Dear Mark & Tracy,

If you DM me with your address I will forward an information sheet on all the Disney hotels with their various restaurants and attractions that I post to all my villa guests.

    Hi Mark and Tracey,

That sounds like fun. If you go, you will have to let us know what it was like as I'm sure our children would enjoy that !

We always have a meal at Animal Kingdom Lodge just show your passport to the guard and tell him you are booked for a meal he will tell you where to park. Then at 9pm you can get night vision binoc's and see the animal's.

Yes, that's the one we always make a point of visiting - great African style buffet!
