[u]Prologue</u>
DH and I went to the World for one amazing week 17 years ago and I vowed to come back some day with kids that day is almost here!
Three years ago I made all the plans for that trip booked the flights, paid the deposit on the villa and did all the research. For various reasons it never happened but we did get to spend three days in Disneyland Paris instead. However I wasn't letting DH get away with it that easily and last October decided that I should start planning The Trip.
There's no turning back now the villa is booked and paid; car is booked and paid; entrance tickets are booked, paid and received and the flights are booked and almost paid I keep putting the final payment off because of the amazing exchange rate. Fortunately I have a brilliant travel agent who's letting me hang on. I've been buying camera film for weeks (there's no money left to buy the digital camera although with the way the dollar is going we'll be able to buy one when we're out there!) and I have a suitcase already out and half filled well I might forget some things nearer the time!
The itinerary is almost done and I've even managed to slot in World Cup TV time! (what a good DW I am!).
I'm sooooo excited sorry, have I said that already?!!!
So, we're off for three weeks, leaving Israel on June 27th and flying Delta to Atlanta and then Delta to Orlando. The villa we've rented is in Sunridge Woods and we've bought 7-day Disney passes (without all the frills), 4-Park Orlando Flex tickets and Kennedy Maximum passes. We're also hoping to fit in several rounds of crazy golf, a visit to Wonder Works and also to the Science Center. Basically we want to do and see everything impossible I know but worth a try. This really is a once in a lifetime trip as it's too far and too expensive to even consider that it'll ever happen again.
So now it's back to the boards for me and all my notes to continue trying to set up the perfect itinerary.
50 more days to go .it's actually only 49 now!!!!
