    Crescent Lakes

    Hi everyone

I am new to this forum and didn't know how to post a new topic so replied to an old one - silly me!!!!

We have booked a villa at crescent lakes for july this year - can't wait!!! We were told that it is easier to get to the parks from poinciance boulevard.

Could anyone give us directions to the parks and to Busch Gardens.

Any tips and advice also gratefully received

It's OK, I've 'tidied you up'!

The weather in Crescent Lakes is great at the moment and I'm currently in our home there.

To get to Busch Gardens, turn left out of Crescent Lakes main entrance, turn left at the traffic light junction with the 17/92, turn right at the next set of traffic lights, look out for I4 signs where you'll want to be turning left (west) again. Follow the I4 to Tampa and you'll see signs to Busch Gardens.

There are four routes to get to the theme parks, depending on the time of day and which ones you want to get to!

One of these is to turn left out of the main entrance and continue until you meet the junction with the 192. Go straight over the 192 and at the traffic light junction with the 192 continue straight. At the traffic light junction turn left onto Vineland Road/535 N. Continue to follow 535 N. Turn left onto World Center Drive. Follow signs to appropriate Disney park.

You can also use the I4 if you wish as an alternative route and this will also take you to Seaworld and Universal Studios.

There are several other routes but I'm sure the home owner you booked with will be letting you know all the info about all the routes that you might need before you leave for Crescent Lakes.

    Have a great time! [msncool]

We are just down the road from Crescent Lakes, but agree with Blott, these are the instruction I give to my guests. It is very straight forward from Poinciana Boulevard.

Have a great holiday Gill [msnsmile2]

I can second that the weather is great at the moment, I am at our villa on Terra Verde on Poinciana Blvd.
There is also the Osceola Palkway route to Disney from this area, it cuts out the 535 and a couple of sets of traffic lights.

To get to Sea World follow Blotts directions but turn right at World Centre Drive/International Drive South, then follow the road round untill you see sea World, take a left and then a right into Sea World. This way cuts out the I4 traffic and is much shorter.

    Have fun

Taking the Osceola parkway for .50 cents extra is the way to go off Poinciana blvd..avoid all the traffic as there is practically none on this toll road as not many know about it. Stay on the Poinciana and cross over 192(vine st.) and its less then 1 mile and turn left onto the Parkway. Bring 50 cents with you as only the machine is there to take your change.

It's 75 cents at this toll and it is un-manned so make sure you have the correct change[msnwink]
