Would you go with Air France?

Seems there is a bit of a concensus here - and I'm not going to change that. Only flown with them once and never again - the staff were so rude and the service was dreadful, they practically threw the food and drinks at the passengers. Thankfully it wasn't long haul but it seemd like we'd been on the flight forever.

i swore i would never fly air france again.
after losing luggage for 24 hours flying into miami
not the end of the world you might say but we were taking a cruise the next day out of miami with no clothes
not like you can shop that easily.
air france gave us an over night pack containing
air france t shirt, toothpaste , shampoo , soap,after shave
and wait for it a [edited out - this is a family forums] !
I suppose I can see the funny side now
Not a laughing matter at the time nearly ruined the holiday
My wifes case arrived on board ship with 10 minutes to spare
Celebrity cruises were excellet they picked the case up for us
and delivered it to the cabin.
On returning to the uk air france were extremely un helpful
having incured costs of over £ 100 air france were adament
£ 40 was the limit of settlement otherwise take them to court
They have one of the worst records of missing luggage

We flew that route a few years back. It was a low price. But we would NEVER fly with them again. Poor service, Staff were unhelpful, a rattly old plane, and a very long trip with all the changes.

I have to agree with everything that has been said about Air France. They are without question the worst airline I have ever had the misfortune to fly with and would never fly with them again. I would prefer to fly with one of the charter airlines who provide a better service than scheduled with Air France. Might be worth trying the flights to Florida link at the top of the page, and/or trying someone like trail finders to see what your options are.

Maybe we were lucky, flew with them a few years ago to florida, had no trouble at all, staff polite, food fine. Just De Gaulle airport awful. Ignorant and inpolite staff.
