    Hi All

Does anyone know if DS games bought in the US will work on a DS console bought in the UK?

    thanks in advance

Yes, they work on both, we bought a couple of games when we were over in Florida in Feb and they work fine.

The PSP games are ok too, just not the UMB (Videos) for the PSP's.

Our youngest has a US DS and has bought both games here and in the US for it.[msnsmile2]

X-box and PS2 games will not work on a standard machine in the UK.
PSP (games only), Gameboy and DS games will all work in the UK and if you have a gamecube the US games will work if you have a freeloader disc.

Just before you jump in and buy them for the DS, I'd check some of the online stores in the UK.
Play.com is excellent and can be the same or cheaper than the USA.

Not true for all of the games but worth checking out.

Some of the larger Walmart stores carry a good range
So do EB, Toy's R US and Game Stop.
Also try the Virgin Megastore at DTD on the upper level.

As others have said, the CD/DVD formats will not work on UK Machines unless you have them chipped.
The UMD's for the PSP are region coded and so will not work.
