We've heard Thomson are offering flights from Doncaster direct to Sanford for around £275 all inc.. Has anyone tried them out?

Barbara, I would think they are on their web site. I have just found some from Birmingham to Sanford on 25th August for £360 each. Will keep checking in the hope they come down.

Or you could just drive to Doncaster Airport at the right time and the flight will be right there

Seriously though, I think they are asking what the other person thought of the flight .

That's interesting. We live not far from Doncaster and it'll be much better than going from Manchester.

Lorraine,we chose not to pay the £17 for the meals and it is stamped on our tickets but I have been told that if a flight is over a certain duration the airline has to provide one.We will see but it won't bother me as I hardly ever eat anything when flying anyway.

Yes - was just wondering if anyone had used this flight before. I didn't realise Doncaster had a big enough airport for trns-atlantic flights?

The 2891 metre long runway (one of the longest runways in the north of England) was resurfaced in 1989, and the airport retained its military use until 1995 when it was declared surplus to requirements by the Ministry of Defence, leading to the airport flag being lowered in 1996.

Manchester Airport runways are 3048m and 3047m[msnwink]
