You can save a bit of money if you shop round in orlando and as the xchange is good you might be better to wait. Don't discard the internet as I got my video camera far cheaper than in the US online. Could not match the price in the Florida Mall at all.

Another thing to look at is if you are buying in the US they use a dif system. This is not too much of a problem as most DVD software can convert it anyway (try pinnacle).

If you purchase either a digital camera or video camera in Orlando what type of charger do you get? Don't they have a different power supply? Would this effect the charger?

Also note US Sony camcorder have a 12 month parts ..
but a miserly 90 labor warranty ...

We have bought 2x Camcorders and a digital camera and have found we have made a decent saving on all of them compared to back home.
Just ensure that you buy the relevant adapters / converters so you can charge and use them back here in the u.k

We bought a Kodak digital camara for my son at christmas. I just rang the Kodak shop when we got back and got the UK charger. £6.95 including postage. Saving on camara £60. Well worth it.

We would have saved about £30 buying our iPod in Florida but we wanted the laser engraving which is only available for online purchases. We saved £10 on an iTrip bought from the Apple store at Mall at Millenia. Wal Mart sell iPods and some accessories but the prices are the same as the Apple store.

We bought a sony camcorder and we have no problems,we just use the adaptor plugs they would use in the UK.It was also much cheaper than here in the UK.

I bought a new camera while I was out there and got a Bargain!

I paid in Dollars what it is in pounds in the UK.

Try and get to Circuit City - its up by the Mall at Millenia - they had a great sale on.

If you are going to buy accessories, try Target or Walmart as they are cheaper!
