    BA Excellent!

Just got back from New York and flew BA for the first time in a few years, we have been using Virgin dircet from Manchester for our Florida flights.

Even though I am ex BA staff I am always highly critical, and I have to say they were excellent, the flights were all on time, childrens meals were there, food was good, IFE excellent and the crew were highly professional and not just eye candy like Virgin. It really made me realise how good they really are and how I think Virgin have lost the plot a bit with its cabin crew ( and thats hard for me to say!)

We flew on a 777 Heathrow - Newark, and 747 JFK- Heathrow on the return, got World Traveller Plus outbound and we were down the back in row 51 in World Traveller inbound[msnsmile]

We really felt in safe hands.

    Well done BA!

We flew with BA into Tampa in March, Ray had used his airmiles to book the seats and we got upgraded to Premium on arrival. Have to say we were impressed with the cabin staff too, very helpful and friendly.[msnsmile2]

I would choose them everytime if the price was right. We flew with them to Vegas via LA of course and also to San Fransico and the service was great.

I like BA but sometimes they have been a little too expensive especially school holiday time.

We have flown with them before and had a great flight and service. However the services out of Manchester to the States seems to be limited and expensive so we use either BMI, or US Airways when the kids are off school or Virgin if they are not. All of these in my opinion offer a similar service and standard compared to BA

Never flown with BA as always gone with Virgin or US Airways. Very happy with both airlines and their Cabin Crew and everything that goes with the flights. But BA is definatly an option, may be in touch Linda. [msnwink]

Also never flown with BA, only because they are a little to expensive as mentioned before. (school Holidays !!!) A friend of mine has also just returned from New York, flying with BA and said they were excellent.

A lot of you mention BA being expensive, just a little tip we came home 1 DAY later ie the day the children should have gone back to school, I took them out for one day and saved approx £600 PER PERSON!!!!!![msnsmile2]
