Tuscon Ridge v West Haven

We are torn between 2 villas, both lovely in there own way. One is on Tuscon Ridge backing onto the Pine Forest and the other On The Manor at West Haven also not overlooked and backing on to Orange Groves. Both a 4 bedroom with pools & Spa although the tUscon Ridge property is bit larger with extra lounge. But is it worth an extra £120 for the 2 week stay. The Tuscon Ridge community is not gated. Does that make a difference? Which would you say is the better place to stay for 2 weeks this Summer everything taken into account ie travel to parks etc? We cant undecide!! ...Help ??

My brother stayed at West Haven in January and said the villa was very new and nicely furnished but quite limited on space inside and close to neighbouring houses many of which were not completed.
The main point I posted for was to tell you that his real disappointment was the fact that many of the orange groves surrounding this development had disappeared from the time he booked to his stay. Apparently they have made way for an adjacent site where new houses are being built between West Haven and the fire station on the main road.

There are plenty of us who own at Westhaven, and love the community.
The Manors is completed now and quiet, and so I am able to recommend that to you

In terms of times to the parks, the 2 communities are pretty close, so there would be no significant time difference on on journey times, which ever community you chose

As a villa owner on The Abbey at West Haven I can tell you a few of the reasons we chose this development for our holiday home built in 2002. (The Manors is slightly newer & now complete.)

1)None of the properties on this development are overlooked. The Abbey has just 56 homes arranged around a road loop.

2)A small development in an excellent location - it is a peaceful conservation area but within easy access of the I-4, theme parks,golfing, shops & restaurants.

3)Extremely high building & furnishing standards.

4)The presentation - beautiful palm tree lined boulevards, red brick paved driveways and well manicured lawns & gardens.

I think you need to decide what is important for you. There are pros and cons to everything as well as the gated community side of things. The distance to Disney is probably neither here nor there as the distance between the two is not a lot. As to whether it is worth paying an extra £120 for the 2 week stay, I am guessing that the party size is probably 8 people which works out at £7.50 extra per person per night, so is very little cost if it is what you really want.

Weigh everything up and make a decision based on this, the difference in price per head is minimal so really shouldnt come into it.

You will have a great time in any villa that you book, if you book from either of the above 3 sites.

Noboby else can really answer this question for you. It really is all down to personal preference. I would not let the £120 be an influencing factor unless both villas were absolutely identical and on an identical plot, which clearly they are not.

I bet you really know which you prefer. My advice is go for it before someone else gets their deposit in and you loose it.
