    Blackberry

I've noticed there are quite a few knowledgeable gadget and techie people on the forum and I'm looking for some advice if anyone can help.

I use a Nokia 9300 communicator. I use it mostly to deal with emails on the move, and occasional internet browsing, both directly on the device and for connecting my laptop to the net while in hotels, trains etc. It's excellent in that it can download/edit office docs; powerpoint, excel etc. and as I travel a lot,I use it all day, every day.

It's now reached the end of its useful life and I need to replace it. I've been told the new blackberry 8700 can do all these things better and quicker. I'm all for the change if it really is better, but I rely on it so much that I don't want to make a mistake.

Anyone had any experience of both that you can share with me?

I have an older blackberry model and its ok, have tried the new one and was not wowed by it. I am waiting for the the new sony ericson to come out, I found the 910 brilliant and the new offers lots more including wifi. If i remeber correctly the comunicator has a large screen, I think you find anything smaller a bit limiting.
