    Air Canada

At last we have booked our tickets delay due to family members changing their minds about Summer plans. Anyway we are flying with Air Canada , no.one reason they were the cheapest airline I could find and no.two reason it gives us the chance to spend a few days with relatives in Toronto on route to Florida . Ive read a lot of negative comments here about A.C. has anybody anything positive to say about them please ?.

    Hi Olive,

I flew with Air Canada to Calgary and back with work last year.
Where are you flying from? I flew out from Heathrow and flew on a new A330 but flew back into manchester and the aircraft was an older 767. I wouldnt let this worry you though as I found the aircraft to be very clean and the food I found to be quite nice for plane food!

There are no seat back TVs or anything like that, its back to the good old big screen on the bulkhead but I didn't have any problems seeing it like I did on some aircraft.

If you have any further specific questions, please feel free to ask.

Thank you Lee and Julie for your replies . Im sure they will be fine a means of getting to our destination for a reasonable fare . No unfortunately no Business Class for us though if I wore my power suit and high heels and disown my family would there be a chance of an upgrade?Seriously though I think its great just to be going to get a Florida Fix.

I flew with them to Toronto several years ago and was very pleased with the service - the food was fine, in fact it was some of the best I've had!

We found their in flight service very good.We were unfortunate enough to have a flight cancelled due to mechanical failure. They did the best they could for us, but couldn't get us home for another couple of days.

These things happen to all airlines from time to time I guess.

    We liked their prices too.

Thank you all for your help with my query, I certainly do feel more reassured now. Im very much looking forward to visiting Toronto,I was last there in with my then relatively new husband .we were looking at our Toronto photoes the other evening and we had a good laugh . We both looked so young and innocent in those days,OF COURSE HAVING NO KIDS HELPED A LOT .
