    Bike Trails and Safety

I am bringing 11 teenagers and their families to Orlando for a Softball tournament. We are staying in 4 villas in and around Lake Berley. I know LB is gated, but some of the other properties are not.

Are there bike trails along the roads that connect these neighborhoods?

Should we have any safety concerns letting the girls walk/ride bikes between the villas?

    Thanks.

If we're still talking Hamilton's Reserve and Lake Berkley, these are on pretty narrow and busy roads (Siesta Lago and Oren Brown) which are both connected at one end with Poinciana Boulevard and the other end on Highway 192.

Biking inside the confines of LB or HR should not be a problem but I'd be wary, from a road safety point of view, of letting youngsters bike or walk around Siesta Lago, Oren Brown, Poinciana Boulevard or Highway 192 personally.

I would think that the best thing to do is check with your home owner(s) whether there are any local bike trails around the area as I don't recall seeing any.
