    hi
    i really want to give this a go

    has anyone done this???
    if so could you give me some info please and perhaps a guide price

    Just found this


    Sammy Duvall's Watersports Center at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

    Peak season hours (Memorial Day through Labor Day) - 7 days a week. 8am - 5pm (weather permitting)
    Off-season hours - 7 days a week. 10am - 5pm (weather permitting)
    Special arrangements can be made for earlier am reservations.

    Parasailing

    Single Flight:
    Regular- $90.00 per flight (8-10 minutes at 450 feet)
    Premium- $ 112.50 per flight (10-12 minutes at 600 feet)

    Tandem Flight:
    Regular- $140.00 per flight (8-10 minutes at 450 feet)
    Premium- $162.50 per flight (10-12 minutes at 600 feet)

    Children under 14 years must be accompanied by a paying adult.
    Solo flyers must weigh 100 pounds minimum.
    Take off and landing done from back of boat, not the water.

    All activities include guidance from your personal, expert instructor, the boat, and all equipment. All water activities are subject to the weather and can be cancelled, or delayed, without prior notice for the safety of their guests. Prices subject to change without notice.

    Our daughters did a tandem at Sammy Duvalls a few years ago. Although we did not do the parasailing ourselves we were allowed to sit in the boat. There's no need to wear a swimming costume as you don't go in the water, well not intentionally you don't. Just take off your shoes and socks and off you go.

    going to go for the tandem premium flight

    for some unknown reason i've always wanted to do this and my daughter who's much braver than mummy is going to hold my hand just in case i get scared[msnwink]
