e.mails

hi

i've probably done something pretty stupid but from yesterday i have started to get e.mails advising me that the slimming topic has a new post
and as we're such a bunch of chatterboxes on there i have had quite a lot

how do i stop them from coming? should i be clicking on 'unsubscribe from topic' because if thats right then i have tried this two or three times and the e.mails are still coming

Yes - you need to unsubscribe from each topic you have subscribed to. It sounds like you might be subscribed to more than one topic.

Click on Profile at the top of any forum pages, give your username and password, then click My Subscriptions to see which ones you are subscribed to at any time.

i have just tried to unsubscribe in the my profile section a box pops up and i click ok and then nothing seems to happen

e.mails are still coming

I'm afraid I'm not sure what else to suggest as that is the correct procedure and works when I try it (it's been working like this since we first started the forums 4 years ago).

What does the box say?

Mizzy, does the box that pops up say "are you sure you want to unsubscribe to this topic?" If so have you said yes to all of the topics you are subscribed to? I have never had a problem with this before, as John says.
