Typhoon Lagoon Expansion

There is a rumour about an expansion of Typhoon Lagoon.
There is the possibility of a Rapids River section, a Torrent River - kind of a cross between Wave Pool and a Lazy River (They have something like this at Center Parcs which is very good).

Angela that sounds a great idea we love the river rapids at center parcs and if we cant find the boys you can guarantee thats where they`ll be

does this mean typhoon lagoon is closed this year as we are going back in october and would hate to miss a visit as it is one of the best water parks

Typhoon Lagoon was closed during January / early Feb of this year for it's annual referb.

You can always check the ongoing maintenance programme for any Disney Park or attraction through the www.disney.com web site.
