    Help - food allergies

My brother in law is thinking about joining us at the villa this easter. He has an allergy to gluten and wheat in food. Does anyone know of any eateries in Orlando that cater for this? Any help would be appreciated.

No problem - lots to choose from!

I have the same allergy to gluten.

Try this article http://www.onlinefloridavillas.com/o...uirements.aspx for a general overview

I would add Chevys, Villa de Flora and Manny's Chop house as good places to eat too.

Any questions feel free to DM.

If you search for 'gluten' on this forum you will come up with some previous threads that give good advice too.

Thanks Jo. Just tried the link but doesn't work. Will have a search for gluten now.

Your brother in law should not have any problems at all. He can order a special meal on the flight, the agricultural people at Orlando International have no problem with you taking some vacum packed gluten free bread and the chefs at alot of the restaurants will be more than happy to make something if there is nothing suitable on the menu.

I was going to enquire about gluten free bread and whether you could take it with you? I was hoping that you might be able to purchase it in the shops.

You can buy it in specialist shops, but it isn't always as good as we get over here - yes honestly there is worse!! I prefer to take mine so I know I have it.

Chamberlains has the widest range - it's just on the right as you turn south onto John Young Parkway from the 192
