    Early check in with BA?

Hi, can anyone tell me if we can do an early check in at down town disney with British Airways? We have done it with Virgin and it's great to shed the luggage and have the last bit of the day to go to a park before flying out. We are flying BA this year as we flying at christmas and the virgin flights were extortionate.
    cheers

As far as I am aware there is no DTD check in with BA, but I stand to be corrected.

I have checked the web site and there is no mention of it??

Have BA told you there is this facility?[msnsmile]

BA check-in at MCO is very good. There is only 1 flight a day with BA, whereas there are a minimum of 3 with Virgin and extra in the peak seasons.

Every time we have travelled with BA we haven't had to wait to check in more than 5 minutes and we have travelled at different times of the year.
Unfortunately this does mean you have to keep your suitcases intill you get to the airport.

Thanks, we didn't speak to BA when making the booking as we booked online 0name edited]. Thats why we weren't sure if they did it or not. Oh well we will have to lug our bags about and head back earlier to the airport [msnsad]
    thanks for your help

thanks Linda, I was typing so didn't see your reply. Thats good to know you haven't had long waits with BA. Some of the Virgin lines are scary![msneek]

The check in desk for BA open at 1pm at MCO. Follow the signs for BA terminal and park outside where you see the BA sign, off-load baggage and leave one person with bags. Follow the signs for parking exit it's further down on left and head for the hotel (name escapes me at moment) which is the at the end of the parking lot, you will go over the road where you dropped off the bags. Park the car and then take the lift down to the check-in desks. Parking costs max $3 depending how long you are at desks.

You can then spend the rest of your time at leisure without worrying about your bags and head back to airport to go straight through to security clearance.

Will you have internet access Heidi? You could always do online check in.
We don't bother with DTD as you can queue there as well, we check in online the day before and then just go to the bag drop where there is always little or no queue.

When we return home we use the BA on line check in service. It is very reliable and the bag drop for BA is also much quicker than the hour we spent in the bag drop queue for Virgin last December. The only good thing about that was when we complained they gave us 5,000 miles.
