    Crescent Lakes

    Hi peeps

Am looking at this community for 2007.

Just how far out of the way is it from the 192, I-Drive (Universal)and the other parks. The reason I ask is that we have stayed in Formosa Gardens and offa the Osceola and have found the trips ok. Have also stayed in Hampton Lakes where we felt a bit remote.

So is Crescent lakes on a par with Hampton lakes?

Crescent Lakes isn't 'out of the way' at all! Crescent Lakes is a great community, beautifully laid out and landscaped with plenty of space between homes, is in a huge wildlife conservation area and only 15 mins to Disney and around 20 mins to Universal Studios. There are plenty of supermarkets (including two super Wal-Marts and two Publix) as well as local shops and restaurants, all within a few minutes drive.

Would you say it is nearer to the 192 than Hampton Lakes?

They are at different ends of the 192. Poinciana Blvd is off the 192 and Cresent lakes is just a few miles down it.
A great location, plenty of good places to eat, shop, play golf, fish etc..,etc...[msnsmile2]

...and Crescent Lakes is not too far from Old Town, which is worth a visit

Kissimmee Old Town, located on Highway 192, is a great place to visit when you want a little time off from the theme parks. Here you can see hundreds of classic cars in the 'Friday Night Cruise' which are from 1972 or maybe older. While walking along the brick-lined streets you can window shop in some of the 75 shops or enjoy some, or all, of the 15 amusement park rides. [msnsmile2]

Well, you should have turned left Liesa, gone past Crescent Lakes, Horse World Riding Stables and the Nature Reserve and you'd have found it easily. [msnwink]
