delta airlines? your views please

we have been flying with Delta to Florida for the past 14 to 15 Years, never had a problem. The only thing is having to go from Gatwick as we are only 30 minutes from Heathrow, so may try United Airlines into Tampa next time.

We have only just returned from the US and we travelled Delta from Las Vegas to Orlando, via Atlanta (same as DMC?). Have to say, I was really impressed! The crew were excellent and the plane between Atlanta and Orlando (a Boeing 777, which is probably the one that does the transatlantic leg as well) was great. It had seat back TV's and the "feel" inside of a 747 (lots of space). They are cetainly an airline I would fly with again.

I would agree with the comments made on the size of Atlanta airport - it is HUGE. Make sure you allow enough time for any connecting flights - we had one hour and as our first flight was on time, this was enough, but make your way to the next gate straightaway!
