American School Holidays

What holidays do schools have in November in the US? Thinking of going again around 16th November for three weeks.

Our kids have a half day of school on Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the then the rest of the week off.

OK so they would essentially be of 22nd, 23rd and 24th? Would that be comman place do you think?

The reason i ask is that we are looking to go again in November for 3 weeks commencing 9th November but not having been over the tanksgiving period before was wondering how busy it was then and what school holidays there were?

Daniel, we went last Thanksgiving. It wasn't to busy, we didn't do any parks over the Thanksgiving weekend as I had been warned not to as this was when they would be packed.
If you do the theme parks on the other weeks of your holiday and just chill over the Thanksgiving few days you should be OK.

I will recommend The Renaissance near Sea World for Thanksgiving lunch, it was superb[msnsmile2]
