How much do the balloon rides cost? It will be my sons 23rd whilst we are out there and that sounds a good idea.

    Paul,
It's Gareths 40th birthday when we are over in August and I have booked flights for us (2 adults 1 child) with Blue Water Balloons. They charge $185 per adult (or $165 if booked over the internet) and $90 ($85 -internet) per child up to age 10. They also do a special flight offer for 4 people and they charge $640 for the 4 of you, again this may be an internet offer. I haven't had to pay a deposit (I have had to give them my card number though) and you only pay when you have flown. I think you can also cancel up to 48 hours before the specified flight day.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Cheryl,

My daughter picked Seaworld a couple of years ago as her birthday treat and had a wonderful day. We initially went into the guest services and told them about her birthday - They gave her a badge to wear and a Shamu soft toy. She then got special attention from all the Staff whenever they saw the badge, like singing happy birthday around the park and getting everyone to join in (although she did go rather pink at this point). We also paid for Dine with Shamu, which was wonderful and well worth the money. There are not many tables and everyone has a great view of a private show. The birthday cake we ordered was also delicious, although there was a large buffet included in the price with lots of sweets ! and as many drinks from the bar as you wanted !
    Definitely worth a visit

We had a friend visiting our villa after we had left who was having his 40th birthday so we organised a cake for him. Publix and Walmart will make them up for you, some really strange designs to choose from.

Cheryl has your son had his birthday yet. If so what did you decide to do.

Hi, thanks everyone for your replies. Archie will be 12 and i think the thought of everyone singing happy birthday to him would do him some phsycological harm LOL. He will be 12 on 26th March, I forgot to ask, does anyone know where we might get a cake? or a restaurant which will produce a cake? Thanks again Cheryl xx

They sell birthday cakes in Walmart, don't know if resturants provide cakes, but you can buy it over there and take the cake to the resturant with you.
