Welcome to the forum Zena. We were debating on France instead of Orlando simply because we could go at weekends. However, we could not tear ourselves away from lovely Florida. We are lucky in the sense that we can spend weeks and weeks at a time there so it makes the travelling worth while.

I was made redundant at 50 and didn't find another job (not that I looked that hard) so I when we go over to Spain I go first and sometimes I'm there for a month. I get the place ready and then Chris joins each weekend he's off up to a max of two. I then close the place down until the next trip. I don't think he would have been so amenable if we had been talking about Florida.

He's often said that he could easily work in Florida, he reckons he'd be great directing the cars in the parking area[msnwink]

Our friend is in his 70's and he works for Disney one day a week, he pays more than he earns in gas to get there. But he gets discounted golf on all the Disney courses, he also sings in the chior at Epcot for that he and his wife get yearly passes.
