I'm newbie to this forum. I first came to Orlando in 1989, I thought it was magical. I've been twice since, the last time in 2004 with my son, daughter-in-law and 7 month granddaughter. Every time there is something new to see and do. When we come in Nov 2006 I will bring my whole family, 5 adults and 3 toddlers, can't wait. Any tips on the best places to go with toddlers would gratefully received, they are already so excited about seeing Mickey Mouse and Barney. We have booked our flights with Virgin and the villa is through Orlando Villas. [clap]
Looking forward to reading all the advice and tips in the next 8 months leading up to our trip.

    Welcome to the forum, Sally.

My nephew, who was 4, truly enjoyed Bear in the Big Blue House. You'll have to sit on the floor--but it's worth it. I held my video camera right next to my nephew and caught his expression when Bear came out. His eyes widened and he whispered in complete awe, "Bear." That 3 seconds on video is priceless.

The "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" play area is really interesting--lots of different textures, sizes, and so on. But the music they play is quite loud depending on where you are in the set--we had to leave after a little while because of it.

I don't know if your toddlers are climbers, but there is another play area I believe in Animal Kingdom in Dinoland. Lots of climbing which means lots of lifting your wee ones, but it's fun. I climbed after my nephew and ended up helping other kids along the way--even I was giggling along with the kids.

I'm certain there are other folks who have taken toddlers to Disney. Check out the areas specified for each park and ask there. Or even the forum "Ask the Experts."

    Happy planning![msncool]

Welcome to the forum Sally, I remember our first time in Florida, our youngest who was 4 at the time was a big fan of Barney and he loved "A Day in the Park with Barney", it was the highlight of his holiday.[msnsmile2]

    Hi Auntie Robin,
Welcome to the forum - I like you normally get the job of organising all the trips whether they be a weekend or holiday.
    Happy planning !
