Just been speaking to another villa owner who live nearby and they always go to Fort Myers and say the beach is wonderful with a great bar called Top the Mast - adults only - I'll let you draw your own conclusions!!! Only joking, it's a place for people who have had enough of anklebiters. Has anybody been?
My friend who has been to Orlando- a staggering 45 times-thinks FM is the best!
We got all packed up to go one morning-and the weather warning was not good- a storm was brewing- and I hate driving in all that rain-so unfortunately the plan got shelved.
Now we've found Sarasota though-it will be hard to tempt us that much further down.
It would be nice to hear from someone who has been to both.

We have been to both, I think I prefer Sarasota over Fort Myers.
Fort Myers is more like a seaside resort, it was nice and we enjoyed our stay and would probably go back. We stayed right on the beach.
But if you asked me to grade them Sarasota would come out on top.
