how late do you arrive after booking in online

was gonna book in on line either this afternoon or tonight with virgin. our ticket paperwork suggested 4 hours befor departure is a good time to turn up? obviously this will improve with online booking, but how late is everyone leaving it at present.
our flight is 1230 lunchtime from gatwick so whilst its an ok flight time, it does still mean joining the rush hour from stanstead area round the m25

We normally allow 2 hours before departure to allow us to get through security etc as the planes normally board 30 mins before departure

3, 4 5..6 hours early Trev, sometimes days before it's that b l o o d y exciting.[msnsmile2]

At Gatwick I would still get there 2 hours before[msnwink]

we did twilight check in on one of the occasions we went to florida, and still like to turn up early as Paul says its so excitng anyway and have probably spent half the night before up with excitement!! can feel the excitement for you Trev, hope you have a wonderful time!!!!!! will be thinking of you!!

We always do twilight cheak in, but like Liesa says can never sleep the night before and still turn up hours before!!!!!!!!!

its all part of it isnt it!!! so exciting to be around all sorts of different people and knowing we're all off on holiday somewhere nice!!!

Dont do what we did on the last trip and that is turn up at Orlando airport for the flight 50 mins before departure. . There was no queues at check or security and we had to run to the gate.
We did make the flight but only just, but we were so stressed when we got onto the plane.
