My hubby is the same, he used to compete throughout the world in motorcycle sports and becomes a kid again when it comes to bikes. I don't really think that stuff is any cheaper in the states re: jackets and leathers, not sufficiently so, to be carting helmet etc back.

Like Liesa said, the Harley shops are expensive.

Big Harley shop in the middle of Kissimmee just up from where Watermania was, or loads and loads of shops in Daytona Beach which is the biking centre round here.

I bought a helmet from The Helmet Shop in Daytona saved over £150 compared to price here in the UK, they are on the net.
Best bet is big bike meets here in the UK were dealers sell off last years stock, their is a name for one particular meet were everything is very cheap, the name escapes me at the moment, I'll add it when it comes to me.

Alan got leathers from a shop on International Drive, up towards Belz. Sorry I can't remember the name of it, but it's on the left before the last set of lights before Belz. It is specialist bike gear shop.

You could also try Wilson's Leather. There are several in Orlando - one at Premium Outlets, one at the Factory Stores on the 535, and one at Florida Mall too.

Bit off topic - but don't forget to go down to Old Town (on the 192) on a Thurs evening for Biker Night. Your husband will be in heaven! Even as non-bikers we're fascinated by the wonderful bikes there.
