    evening wear

am aware of the cold snap this weekend, which looks like its abated now high 70 into 80 from thursday[msnsmile2].
whats its like on an evening and night. as we are just wondering what sort of clothing to pack for the family as we have never been this early in the year.
any body any ideas or anyone out there at the minute?

A couple of light jumpers or a couple of sweatshirts each Trev, that should suffice. We're going in 4 weeks and expect some evenings to be a little chilly.

Trev, I'd say take jeans/trousers and sweatshirt and lightweight jacket. Ok - I feel the cold - but we once got caught out! It was a one off day in February when we had the most miserable day out at MGM when it was so cold without a jacket that it was miserable. The next day was glorious sunshine again - but you just never know!

We were there for christmas and wore shorts and t shirts for the whole of the holiday except for Chritmas day. It was cold first thing in the morning but once the sun was up it warm enough for just a t shirt.
Cathy would say you need a fleece for the early morning and evening time.

Trev, for evening wear, you could try a Tuxedo with catchy bow tie in a bright colour and matching cummerbund, whilst Mrs Trev could go for a fetching ballgown in a gold or silver taffetta. Me and Mrs Macka often do this, although do tell Mrs Trev to be carefull in the booths at Ponderosa as they often don't have much room.[msnsmile2]

Warmest thing we have ever needed was a sweatshirt to put over a t-shirt I think We did travel in late january a few tears back. That said, there were many evenings when a t-shirt was enough Sometimes it can be cooler inside (Due to the air-con!) Whatever time of the year.

Trev in the ballgown and Mrs Trev with the Tuxedo if they are trying to keep up with your dining standards, at least that was what a birdie told me.

i would say a nice lightweight fleece jacket each would be ok and a cheap plastic poncho from walmart

we went early last march and it got a little cooler in the evening
there were some days with rain but being british it didn't bother us at all because it was still warm despite the downpour[msneek]

    you'll have a wonderful time

If it's a special occasion, what about one of those bow ties that spins round and lights up???[msnwink]
