Hi Girls, thank you for your congrats, sorry I didn't get back in here, I had to work really late, and was out first thing this morning. You are all in bed now, but will see this later!

Congrats Mizzy on 2.5 pounds
[clap] [clap] [clap]
I am sooooo happy for you! Woop! Woop!
Did you do that WHAT A FEELING dance around your lounge, flashdance? Ha Ha!

It does spur you on to keep going when you get a good loss, I had that feeling after a pound, if I can go a pound a week I would be happy enough!

Diary yesterday (Mon)

Porridge (properly measured out correctly now)
Bacon Omlette
SW savoury mince, with corn, green peppers, tomatoes & celery. I added some chilli and it was amazingly good!

Snacks: Pear, Apple, low fat biscuit & Yoghurt. Skinny Cap & camomile teas

Have a great day everyone when you get going, I am off to work again!

Theresa

again Good Luck with the weigh in today Julie

and remember that if you do have fluid retention it may not show your actual loss on the scales
but this doesn't mean that you haven't lost, so BE POSITIVE and those scales will show the true results next week[clap]

i'm off now for a most delighful day with the mil[msneek] she has noticed that i've lost the weight but as it would obviously kill her to give me a compliment i have had to do with " what are you going to do wth your old clothes?" instead[msnmad]

she is a size 10-12 after years of being a good size 16-18, she lost a lot of weight because of illness and now she can't put weight on but that doesn't stop her from dishing out hurtful comments and if i dare to correct her and say thats really hurt me to hear you say that, she always replies that it's my fault for being a girl and she's so glad she didn't have any girls because we are too sensitive[msnmad]

it's a good job my dh supports me and is more than aware of his own mothers nastiness or else i'd go round the bend[msnsmile]

so i will check in later totally stressed out and with a sore lip for having to bite it so often, isn't it a shame that stress doesn't stop me from eating , i'd be a size 6[msnsmile2]

have a great day everyone

Mizzy

Only lost a pound[msnsad]Gutted[msnsad]

Anyway I know why as my scales went up a pound yesterday to coincide with 'that' time[msnmad] Feeling really low but that's more down to MT I suppose[msncry]

So as Mizzy says I shall remain commited and positive, going to get back into my exercise regime this week too as had so much going on last week with little one having his op etc.

Mizzy hope it goes well with MIL[msnwink]

Have a good day all[msnsmile]

Morning everyone!

Mizzy.....You are a star for just putting up with your MIL !!....let alone spend some time with her!....SHE DOESN'T DESERVE YOU FOR A DIL!!!!....my grandma was like that with my mum[msnscared][msnscared] but mum just used to ignore her and put up with her only when she had to !![msnwink]

Julie...Yes, don't be dis-heartened if the weight loss doesn't show today because of mother nature[msnwink] as Mizzy states it woill show more next week[msnwink][msnwink]

Just had my weetabix with skimmed milk and plan on a jacket potatoe with tuna for lunch. Salmon for dinner with fresh steamed veg!!
Back on the "Twister" this morning to burn some more calories!!

here i am!! back and relatively unscathed from my time out with the mil, the biggest whinge is that i bought her a cappuchino in thorntons instead of the latte, apparantly last time she got a latte and without uttering a word about what she wanted, because after all i can mind read!! i got the coffee order wrong, funnily enough last time she got a cappuchino but i let it go and bit my lip

anyway back to the diet stuff, Congratulations Julie, i know you will be disapointed because you deserved more , but that "more" will definately show next week , i promise[clap][clap][clap]

and like Paula says a lb is 2 blocks of butter and as i say you certainly would be happy walking around with 2 blocks of butter stuck down the back of your knickers now would you[laugh][laugh][laugh][grin]

whilst out i had a skinny cappuchino and my dh ate the free chocolate to keep me on track
[angel]

i am having pasta for lunch which is just cooling as i type and i may have stuffed peppers for tea, not decided yet

check in later Mizzy[msnsmile]

Well done Mizzy, great weight loss, and Julie that's very good to lose a pound under those circumstances, many people don't.

ate out at Hoolihans last night, hadn't been there before - it's very good. DH and I shared lettuce wraps for a starter and then I had fillet steak with asparagus and fries. Followed by creme brulee (that doesn't look as if it is spelt correctly) which was delicious. Oh yes did well on the drink front too - 2 x BMs and 1 large glass of red wine.

Meant to be off to the coast today so natch have overslept! Am going to have omelette for breakfast and will be having salads I hope the rest of the time, need to start gettingback on track. As we are driving will be on softs so that is something.

Have a good day peeps.
Fiona
